Beautiful fun climb.
My friend pointed out a walkoff below the wall. I had been teaching her to cimb for about 9 months so i grew confident in her observations. When I got to the alcove top of the 3rd pitch I had suspisions,,:-)
I looked up at the corner crack and the option of going left below the short wall, I knew the answer.
So when my friend reached the same spot I asked her, you wanna go this way or that way.
She thought both were scary but trusted in my choice, I went for the corner with no pro and I would say the crux is at the top, 5,6 with pro,,,,5.9 solo:-) .
It was also very late, my friend hates cracks but after 30 minutes of coaching coaxing and heaving and hoing the rope, she made it.
Huffed and puffed then I had to shoo her along as the sun had since been replaced by the moon,,,thankfully there was a moon....
Another hour or so of moonlit down climbing complete with demos redoos and more coaching coaxing , the thought or a shove or drag occured to me but I knew the consquence of that. So I stayed with you can do it,,trust me, :-) all of a sudden we were down safe.
A very fun half day,evening.:-)
