This proud 25-foot-tall boulder stands alone on top of a hill with a royal view. You can see your car (or truck) from the rock but you can’t see anything else but forest. A short, steep hike gets you up to the boulder in just a couple minutes from the parking alongside the seldom traveled dirt road. The problems are all classic highballs except the traverses and the classics Infectious Booty V5 which has a high but relatively easier finish and The Pit and the Pendulum (V8)which is lower to the ground the whole way but has a rocky pit for a landing zone. The boulder is a free-standing monolith with no walk off. The easiest ways up/down are either the Left Arête or the excellent, vertical, zig zagging V0R crack seen on the east face as you approach the boulder. Its crux is about 15 feet off the deck! This is a great place to hang out and enjoy the great view and solitude. Notable Bouldering Problems
