That is the point. In our current state of affairs it is rare and valuable. Why? Bacause right know we are told we can't get to the Motherlode so to speak. Well why not?

If the stories are true and indeed we do have the alien technology hidden away and back-engineered like so many say we do, then we can get there, and get there easily right now. The evidence for a secret off-world astronaut corp is significant. One of the big reasons the Pentagon is being so harsh on the UK gentleman Gary Mckinnon and trying to extradite him (he discovered this information when he hacked into Pentagon computers and witnessed a list of off-world astronauts). I'll have to get into that later. There is good evidence that this is true. Many sources say so. Even the NASA astonaut David Scott admits to training astronauts out here in LA, CA for a covert DOD astronaut group.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_McKinnon

Then many problems of energy and resources are solvable right now. And it is hidden for dark and sinister reasons from the rest of the World. Why would they do that? Power and control. The haves and have nots. Continued fuedalism. Don't upset the apple cart because they are raking in tons of money by holding down the man. Has the Wars and rumors of Wars actually worked in their favor and transfered the wealth of this country to the Military-Industrial Complex? It sure has. Our worst fears are coming true . . .

A hidden world, growing beyond control
http://projects.washingtonpost.com/top-secret-america/articles/a-hidden-world-growing-beyond-control/

Knowledge of this technology is power and control. That is the reason to hide it away. Not because we can't handle the truth. It is because of the age-less war between the haves and have nots. Greed, money and power. They have a dark, sinister, and corrupt agenda.

That was "retiredafb's" point.

yea, seems like a healthy thread, rox. someone should do a PPD (posts per day) study to see whether there's a chance of catching that republicans-wrong thread. it has slowed, but it's so far out in front.

let's see--was gonna talk about jesus and aliens. i remember the catholic church making pronouncements on the subject back in the 60s. we have two options: either the aliens have already been saved by a divine incarnation on their home planet, or they're here to be saved by jesus. if the latter, they're finally finding what they've been questing for, scouring the galaxy for a holy incarnation.

hope they don't get distracted by buddha or mohammed or even lord krishna. maybe they're being so elusive because they're having a hard time making up their minds about the one true faith. stay tuned ...

uff-da. almost forgot a third option. they may have passed the original sin test and they don't require saving. that's assuming god put them to an original sin test.

how does that work, klimmer? god allows a tooth-and-claw biota to evolve and then, when the critters graduate to spirituality, somewhere between the taung child and the neanderthals i'd guess--or maybe even before the taungs--they get the garden of eden test, to eat or not to eat, and then we're on the false religion track to be superceded by monotheism and then salvationism.

you see, klimsie, the whole problem with your scenario is that YOU STILL HAVE TO BE SAVED. jesus, come baaaaaaaaaack ...

I find this to be a depressing thread, the longer it lasts and the more I read here. It's sad that so many intelligent people believe--I think want to believe--some really weird and far-fetched gobblygoop.

I will pull together the links for the possibility of a Secret US Astronaut Corp later when I get home and I have time. There are lots of testimonial evidence as I said . . .

Checking my email, I got a notice from NOVA regarding upcoming shows and there was a link to a recent interview with Buzz Aldrin.

Now, I like the guy. He's an American hero. But he knows far more than he lets on. At times he says things that make you go huh?, and "let's the Cat Out of the Bag." He knows there are UFOs and ET. He knows.

Buzz Aldrin's Timetable for Colonizing Mars

Now, Richard Hoagland and Mike Bara the authors of the best-seller Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA, would have a field-day with this interview. It is loaded with symbology. And Buzz proudly wears his 33 degree Mason ring in the adjoined image. The Masons, boy that is one mysterious private membership group if there ever was one. 2012, 50, 66, 70, it goes on and on in the article. Ever been in a Mason temple? I have for school district training for the use of the building. Also sometimes Mineral, Rock and Gem shows are there here in San Diego. The temple and adjoining building is massive. You have to be invited to join. I know I will never be. Lol.

I know we could publically go to Mars sooner. Much sooner than he suggests.

i find you a little depressing myself, dirtbag. not much imagination, curiosity, questioning, but great dismay at others who don't share your essentially vulnerable "reality".

interesting note there, LEB. we fellas get so partial to the single pair arrangement. it becomes hypnotic.

i once knew a fellow who had an extra nipple. he was a choreographer, one of the few male heteros in that business, and he had oh so many opportunities with in-shape females. he said that when he'd confide his little secret, people would usually look at him like he was satan incarnate.

interesting that the u.n. should be taking extraterrestials seriously enough to appoint an alien ambassador "just in case". perhaps edgar mitchell is right--gearing up for a disclosure?

skeptimistic is hooked. this thread is going where neither the god nor the paranormal threads have gone before.

Hint: when your sources of "information" on what would be truly revolutionary news items are exclusively the domain of Tin-foil hatter fringe websites, you are probably grasping at straws. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Not Bible codes, vague photos, fringe "experts", conspiracy buffs chasing shadows, etc.

And I think I'll trust the judgment about my "imagination, curiosity, questioning" of those who actually know me.

If life started on another planet millions of light years away, how early in the "life" of the universe could it have stated and how quickly could it have advanced? The assumptions I would make are that there was a long period in the universe when the forming of planets and solar systems was too volatile to allow for life to form and remain in existence and the assumption that evolution would take place without some god getting involved.

If there is a god and there is magic, nothing is predictable or meaningful.

I can imagine another planet with life on it and that life having things like big brains and opposable thumb things. I can even imagine them being more advanced that us by a long ways. I can't, on the other hand, imagine them having enough time from the beginning of the universe to have gotten to the point of finding a way to travel faster than light and also finding us. Oh, and also at the same time being a bunch of jerks that want to mess with our cows but not get in touch with the entire population. My imagination is just not that outrageous. There are too many things that would have to take place for this ark thing to be an alien spacecraft and not a hoax.

So where is the line between imaginative and crazy?

I can imagine alien life but I can't imagine that everything on earth is surrounded by a big conspiracy. I guess I just have no imagination.

I'm dying to hear something about the National Press Club meeting today. An article said that CNN was going to cover it? Anyone see something?

How did I miss these articles? Really good:

Watch the NGS video at the bottom. Very interesting and very cool:

Did anyone see this program? I don't get NG channel. :-(

"The cow thing is far more likely military helicopters testing chemical munitions and dispersal methods and removing organs for later study or to conceal just what killed them."--Rokjox

Certainly possible and plausible, but one would think that it would FAR more easy and economical for the Black Ops guys to have their own cattle to experiment on--rather than travelling across the country to "poach" a few cattle from a Wyoming rancher.

It doesn't add up for them to do this, but it IS possible...

You wrote: “there is no wind or water erosion. the only erosion which takes place is through mucho bombardment by meteors……………………………

Wrong answer

Solar Wind and dust.

Solar Wind: one of hundreds of volts of static electricity lurking in potentially resource-rich craters just waiting to zap an astronaut. One Solution a grounding source.

Dust: Surface is known as Regolith, a silicate. Causes erosion

Look it up.

lost,

Try not taking personal digs. Get over yourself.

Lots of phenomenon changes the surface of the Moon:

Asteroids, meteoroids, and micrometeoriod bombardments (no meteorites technically since no atmosphere or very thin atmosphere at actual ground level of the Lunar surface)
Ejecta from the same
Surface Lunar Creep (gravity induced)
Moon quakes
Solar Winds
Cosmic Rays
Water has been found on the Moon now, so in direct sun can the water ice melt and then flow? Sure, but probably all the water ice that could do that has done it already Billions of years ago.
Aliens landing, walking around, and driving around (to include mankind :-0)

Klimmer,

Only reason for going back to the moon now that there is water is for a permanent lunar base. But China will beat us since they have the $$$$$.

By the way you mention these ? things [Aliens] Spaceships are evil and that there is only one way of salvation, how can you be objective in your thinking.

I haven't found the actual meeting yet. Cool though. It is happening -- disclosure.

Edit:

Because they violate the Law of the Universe, "The Two Great Commandments:"

1. "Love the LORD GOD with all Your Heart, Mind, and Soul."

2. And the second is like unto it, "Treat and Love Others as You Would Do Yourself."

"All the Laws of the prophets hang on these two Laws."

They (ETs) violate these Laws of the Universe constantly: abductions, rape, tremendous fear and evil dred experienced by those who have been abducted etc. etc. The Good Book says Lucifer can appear as an Angel of Light. You have to test the spirits to see whether they are of GOD.

Jesus Christ said this day would come, and to be ready and to watch, and not to be fooled. They will come and appear probably bearing great gifts (technology) and claim to be our creators. They are not. They want to be worshipped. They are fallen entities of GOD. They are out for the souls of mankind.

It is the only thing they can do against GOD, to try to hurt GOD, to try and rob the souls of man from him. He cries even for the fallen sparrow. They are not who they say they are. They lie as their "Father of Lies" instructs them to do. Don't be fooled.

Read the Good Book and read about Jesus's 40 days in the wilderness. It will tell you all you need to know about Lucifer and what he ultimately wants to do.
