Hi Michelle. I remember you joining the Army—3 or 4 years ago I think--and that you were posted to Iraq. I remember that you wanted Afghanistan instead since there were mountains there. After that, I lost track.

I am sorry for whatever happened; I hope you mend. My youngest daughter crashed her bike last summer in a freakish accident and took the full force on her jaw, breaking everything except her neck. (No damage to the bike, her helmet, or her clothes.) She is mending, slowly, and reevaluating her life-plan. She continues to be very successful in a corporate consulting environment, but will probably end up in Africa working to improve the lot of people who are not so fortunate. I think it is hard work to figure out what to do with your life if you are free to choose.

You were one of the first ST campers I met when I joined the campfire. I like your “It’s my gun, thank you” photo.

All the best, Roger

Hey Michelle-

Don't let the dark times screw with your mind. I don't think there are any of us that have not had some bumps in the road of life. It is not always easy. Hang in there and know you have friends you have yet to meet.

Give Todd a call and go climbing. Or at least run out to JT and spend some time with him and Andrea. Truly great people. Watch some awesome sunsets and sunrises.
