So if a missile hit the Pentagon where did it come from? Have any of you
ever seen the chain of command regarding the arming of missiles and their
launch? I know it was the Mother of all Conspiracies but, really, there are
just too many blabbermouths out there. I mean, like, they couldn't even
keep the lid on that Roswell thing, ya know?

The Pentagon building and lack of evidence that a plane hit the facade (no wing/engine marks).

I have to admit that I don't know how how the marks on a building after a plane flying into it should look like? Do you know how it should look like?

A lot of thing could happen during the crash. The wings could for example detach from the plane and turn forward/inward when the noose of the plane hit a wall and de-accelerate fast. The complete opposite might also happen. I don't know but how it should look but I kind of doubt that the mark should look like an airplane shadow or something like that.

Another thing I don't understand is that we should believe the eyewitnesses that for example heard explosion but the eyewitnesses that saw a plane close to the pentagon seems to be mostly ignored.

Really K-Man, a simple explosive test done by the government would put this all to rest?

I laugh robustly.

Still waiting for that audio of the bombs pulverizing all that concrete during the collapse.

Hey Poser Betelnut, and Port where's my my fuking plane ticket?

Huh? Huh?

You run your mouth get me my plane ticket.

So your own government murdering its citizens isn't enough to make you leave the country, but a $200 plain ticket is whats keeping you here?????

That's funny Werner.... because that's what conspiracy people are... they are Skeptics in that they don't believe a particular version of things, and in this case the so called "official" version. Skeptics need proof!! Every one who has posted on this thread is a Skeptic!!! They are just skeptical about different things.

A Utube video is not proof an anything, because we all know how easily videos can be manipulated. If you propose the idea that a missle and not an airliner crashed into the pentagon then show us the evidence! I am a skeptic of the "conspiracy" people in this instance. That is not to say that some conspiracys don't exist in our world. But you have to prove they exist and not just ignore established facts that don't support your view.

Unfortunately, most conspiracy folks don't provide answers, just questions. They cannot be convinced no matter what facts, information, and rational explanations are offered. Sort of like people of faith... faith is all they need... they accept no rational explanations because those explanations are not needed, faith is enough for them. They lack critical thinking skills and are proud of it! Skepticism is a good thing if it leads to investigation and not just irrational acceptance of unproven ideas.

Personally I know very little of the facts in this particular case and I am very sure most of the people posting know as little as I do.. so what do we do? We ask people with knowledge in the subject area and evaluate what they have to say. Then we decide what we think is correct. Paraphrasing a Paul Simon lyric.. "People hear what they want to hear and disregard the rest". From what I have read and seen this particular conspiracy hypothesis appears much more unlikely than likely.

but a $200 plain ticket is whats keeping you here?????

Naw.. I'm just hoping you will send me 200 dollars for a plane ticket. I want to spend the winter in the Caribbean and every dollar helps.

So its been decided???

Everyone who doesn't fully accept the official version is completely nuts and
everyone who fully accepts the official version is completely nuts.

Glad we got that decided.

Yes.. I'm completely nuts, I don't fully accept the official version. Just wanted to make that clear so perhaps someone will send me a plane ticket out of here.

I have no clue what I expect to see in the first pics as they look pretty similar to the pics from pentagon.

Regarding the last one compared to the plane into WTC I guess I have to assume that no planes flow inte the WTC tower because the "planes" seemed to penetrate the building.

No ron, I doubt a difference in speed make a difference.

If you drop a phone book on the floor making a loud bang the conspiracy
theorist in the next cubical will swear it was an explosion and those
in management are now covering up the truth.

Pity the fools!

Au contraire! It makes a huge difference as does the size of the plane and
the type of building that is hit. Ever see pictures of boards driven through
trees by tornados?

Ok, so the plane was not even a jet but a turboprop. It was not 119 people in the plane. It seems like one wing hit the building.

I guess this was exact what happened in pentagon and is also proof that wtc was taken down with demolitions because the building didn't even fall.

I would say foolproof proof that it was a conspiracy!

Just curious. Are you saying that a hercules and a 757 is similar airplanes or did you say that the building that the hercules hit where smaller than pentagon so we don't need the same sized plane?

Do you even know if it was a head on collision? My information say that it wasn't.

Witness Iraj Moradin told The Associated Press the plane appeared to be circling the airport when its tail suddenly burst into flames, leaving a smoke trail as it plummeted. He said he fled when he thought the plane was going to crash into a gas station, but turned in time to see it hit the building.

The similarity with pentagon is almost scary.

I have this strange idea that size might matter when an airplane hit a building, it is also possibly that the speed matters. I am not sure but the amount of fuel in the plane might also be a factor in the result.

I would think that climbers would understand 1/2 MV squared.

Double the velocity = four times the energy.

Simple balistics.

As I posted last month.

"I wanna know how this big ass plane could do what it did."

Real simple physics.

1/2 MV Squared. / the area of the impact.

The same reason a marble size piece of copper can squirt thru a foot of armor plate steel like it was butter.

200,000lb airplane at 500 mph with a 16 ft diameter nose?

That's about 21-1/2 MILLION foot pounds of energy per square foot.

Also why about everything that went thru the hole was for the most part vaporized.

BTW the tail of a 757 is for the most part carbon fiber. Not that that matters much. There was enough energy to vaporize aluminum.

But rarely can you develope an experiemnt that deals with the exact same forces and materials, you build models and extrapalote from them. Its the way to do stuff that you can't duplicate. I mean, its THE way.

Yes, it is one way but it of course important to do the scale tests with models with properties in the correct relation to each other.
