The Brits call it "Bridging" sremming up past the Trolls,
(the 'Face', center top just under the leaves.)same family tree I m not given to having a whole lot of belief in supernatural or visitations.
But This Face, all of them, around this one Crag? Is a bit weird.
The better half says it is me that is weird pointing them out.
She sees rock not patterns that approximate Faces, then I Show her this 'guy'
A Gremlin, looking left, swinging a right hookSee it?
She still just huhrumphs, and says "you're crazy"
after the trundle, these two, seem to have appeared.
This is from out of the haze that is the inter webs.
I'm trying to find out the current safety of taking
a rope and tr gear into the woods in Rosendale.
I know my way around, but have not been back there In ten yrs.
The Water Works was the given name.
I was on good terms with Jon Rhal.
and in court weekly with the squatter, D Williams, an aggressive but untitled occupier of the very fun rock at the start of the rail-trail.
His title and deed match a parcel on the other side of the rail bed.
His claims of ownership fail to be legal if charged
With trespassing as I was you can, at some expense, be found innocent, I had to play this out as the actual, unwitting, owner of the lands that Williams occupies.
We bought the 4 acre parcel that A previous owner had split from the whole.
That is when the land grab occurred.
As Kingston police officer at the time was the owner, he choose to sub-dived and sell, leaving
the squatters, to be someone else's problem.
The next owners, the Bianchi's who I bought from,
where run out of town (their children targeted)
The curuption runs deep.
I fought the good fight then took similar action to the Kingston Cop, after my 1st kid was born.

SAVING SGT. BILKO
It was somewhere south of Xochilmilchco
Where I ran into Sergeant Ernie Bilko
Standing by a messed-up foundered mule
I knew old Sergeant Bilko, having seen him on my Philco
So I yelled out Roger Wilco. Hop in and then I think we will go
To where you can call the boys in the motor pool
It seems I've run out of rhyme for -ilko
But I would like to milk, though
A bit more of your precious time
With stupid, un-poetic crime

From the web cam network installed to keep vandals on their toes. Eggers beware! TP-ers don't scare us!
In the lobby there is muzak with a malignant touch, mostly minor key, like the Dance of the Marionettes and the ever-boring Bolero, several minutes of mindless laughter. But no Monster Mash, thank God!
Gerardo the maintenance guy was mysterious about what he was going to do with three PVC frames he'd made this morning. Later on, I got what he'd been up to.

Edward Turtle
The turtle had his own plans
Doing things on his own time
His tweed jacket and Scottish cap
He would not change
His situational awareness
Flawed and two dimensional
Were by his own design
Edward it were, the turtle
His whiskers gray
And scaly hide
Grayish brown and well worn
Long into his hundreds
Long lived for the aged
His youth a distant memory
Minuscule without regret
Lost in time
Edward still liked the newspaper
And polishing his shoes
Until a tidal surge
Swamped his mud bank home
As he washed out to the sea
In his soiled and tattered garb
On a mossy old log
With all manner of other creature
Edward was beyond perturbed
And would not answer questions
From his fellow passengers
Who only sought polite conversation
The waves crashed
The seas boiled
One by one they parted
And Edward swam aimlessly
The sand bar was inhabitable
And the turtle made a home
Borrowing his garb from nature
Although displeased by the situation
No mail order tweed jackets
Scottish caps or shiny shoes
And unlike Robinson Caruso
Most turtles remain unknown

Straight from the heart of the Kosher Canyon in L.A.
Oi yeah, I've neen there, but not this year (1939). I do not recall ever seeing Marvin Gaye there, but Gary Cooper, sure.
Sharpies out there will immediately point out that this is not the KC store, but rather the original in Boyle Heights.
The giveaway? 2323 Fairfaxx is way down south almost at the Santa Monica Freeway.
