Life is short.

My daughter went on the HS ski/snowboard trip this past weekend (FEB 8-10 2013) to Stowe (VT). She said the conditions were absolutely great, considering that recent winter storm 'Nemo' dumped a foot of fresh pow the night they arrived.

A very good friend of her's arrives home after a great weekend and finds his dad (mid 40's) dead on the floor (blood clot). He has no mom and no siblings and is now alone @ 16 years old.

This kid was apparently very close to his father and an extraordinarily nice boy.

Make time for the ones you love because you never know how long anyone has.

hey there say, legggs... wow, i keep seeing this pop up here...
i got to jump in and swim here, now... :)

dial up has kept me struggling to keep up, lately..

odd thing, is, that years back, i'd post all the time, and
dial up was no trouble...
and--i had an old computer... :O

now, dail up and the newer computer, seem to always stall and fizzle, :(

i suspect it is all these new flash and etc, fancy do-dads on the
net... and new java and all that...

come spring, i will take this and see if they can put it on line and update...

i sure miss you all and all this extra fun, along with pictured trip reports...

keep up the great fun!

Thanks guys. After a less than stellar trip, I find this out. I'm still in shock, can't shake this migraine and can't stop crying. My Lola has been walking to Zenas bed and squeeking at it off and on and its breaking my heart even more. I would really like for something good to happen. Apparently, that's just not in the cards for my life. Sorry for venting. I'm just crushed, in more ways than one.
