neat Rob, thanks for the post - hey would you mind emailing me info in a nutshell on how you posted that video?

I can figure out the details.

Also been wondering how you get a hyperlink in simple underlined text like that.

If it's not too much trouble, thanks :)

Ray

PS: all those in favor of doing it again in cooler weather?

Eye!

Mike P. you were severly missed. . .

I think we have an unofficial photo contest going. So, far I really like the shot of Tom Gibson and Roy on top of Robbins near the end of the day, with the moon in the sky. Great shot bvb.

Fueco, nice shots. That tie-dye shirt on Robbins makes me look fat. Damn, I'm only 165 lbs naked.

I'm trying to get my shots going. Soon . . .

Great stuff, everyone. Wonderful to see Dr. Shockley back in action, in a video, no less.
Greg, it is amazing what your little winter trip report inspired!
Hope to make it next time.

Raydog, the guy in the megas is Steve aka Scuffy B, and BeeHay cut some kinda deal with the devil, though his hair is a little darker.

Jeff Leeds contemplates the "warm up" route

Tom Gibson walking up the first route of the day, Razor's Edge

Grasping the greasy lieback of The Toaster, Tom eyes the LZ as the paparazzi throng the top. Word is the TV Screen was originally The Toaster back before guidebooks, because it would spit you off like a little piece of burnt toast.

Ever wonder what you might find under a cowboy hat?

BVB in the Klettergarden

Scuffy B gets down to business

Fueco peers down from the Klettergarden with a few projects in the background

BVB doing a little spectating

base of Bat Flake, going clockwise from the bottom: Bear, Eric, Tarbaby, Eppi (crowned by two guys whose names I missed), Run Amuck, Levy, Diablo, BeeHay, and the post climb carcass of BVB.

The action on Bat Flake...

...that kept folks attention focused.

Tarbuster and Tom Gibson gaze at California Night,

have a semaphore discussion,

Tarbuster completes his trifecta of hard Woodson thin cracks,

and celebrates at the base while Scuffy B gets some pointers.

A lovely day indeed.

Damn straight you were with us Mike Paul.

This was my second day at Woodson; the first was in '81 with you Bro.
My memory of you showing Michi & me Hear my Train & Drivin' South is still crisp & darned vivid:
You were all-game-full-on plugged in, solo, with the most stunning concentration -such an inspiration of focus and power.

crusher those are truly great shots - a really professional job -but, somethings wrong, the pics of Tom Gibson are from 1979! What happened? I mean c'mon. BeeHay's stark rejection of the aging process was bad enough, but Gibson's is absurd!

great post - many thanks crusher.

So, the question emerging...did anyone photograph Rick Piggott?

It would also be something of a revelation to see images of the invincible Phantom X and (whoosh!) Agent 13 -

well, that's it - I'm on a diet.
