Why do people think she's attractive? She reminds me of the nun who used to crack me across the knuckles when I made a mistake during 5th grade piano lessons.

A friend of mine from work graduated from the University of Idaho the same year as Palin.
Today, she brought in her yearbook from the year they graduated and sure enough, she was in it. She is a pretty woman and she was back then, too.

I really think this is the beginning of the end for the republican party...just seeing who was in the audience (mostly white 40-70 years old) at the convention will tell you that their base is shrinking and is not being replaced by the new America population.
Jim....I agree...I find her somewhat repulsive.

If she's so innocent of troopergate,she sure going out of her way not to testify or cooperate. She's even playing some very corrupt looking legal games to put the case in the hands of her appointed cronies.
"It didn't take long. We've already brought you news of the official investigation into Gov. Palin's firing of Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan. Steve Branchflower, the lead investigator, began trying to arrange a deposition of the governor days before her veep selection. And despite claiming executive privilege to shield requested emails, up until that point Palin had promised full cooperation with the probe.
Now, however, she is refusing to submit to questioning by Branchflower unless he and the legislative committee that appointed him agree to relinquish control of the investigation and turn it over to a state review board made up of three Palin appointees.
Yesterday, Palin took the unusual step of having her lawyer, Thomas van Flein, file an ethics complaint against her with the state's Attorney General. This, she hopes, will lead the AG to give the investigation to the aforementioned state personnel board. Unless that happens, and Branchflower agrees to close down his investigation, she will refuse to testify."

Then why not just come out and cooperate? I personally doubt there is much to it, but if you are going to claim to be the most transparent and accountable administration EVER why not lay it all out there? Ever notice how it's never the actual scandal that gets people in trouble but the cover-up?

Yeah Jim, she sort of does look like the Flying Nun (Sally Fields)
who used to crack me across the knuckles when I made a mistake during 5th grade piano lessons.
In fourth grade at St Mary's (Walnut Creek) we had a Sister Abby (from Ireland of all places) who would both whack your knuckles with a wood ruler and, if you had hair long enough (back then just the girls) wrap her finger around your bangs and give it a good yank. I'm glad I didn't start growing my hair long until the sixth grade.
