Bump. In case there's anyone hanging around the Valley tonight who needs a reminder.

Edit: Plus, we need a TR, preferably with pictures. :-)

This sounds incredible and I'm really sorry I couldn't make it. Ken, I'll give you some aiders, write me and tell me what you want.
I'm moving out of my house in Boulder by June 15 (it's rented) and moving one load of stuff this weekend, or I'd be there. After moving, my son and I are going on a long road trip to Tuolomne, the Sierra, Squamish, City of rocks, and Moab. We'll be on the road until early November.
Hope to see you all soon in California!

I went by the Exhibit yesterday. Beautiful job Ken! A lot of care and work went into it. It starts with John Muir and works around the room to modern free and speed climbing. Steve Grossman built this really cool granite "wall" in one corner with cracks in it. There's a bunch of pro on cables, stopper cams, etc., that you can place in the cracks. I wanted to run over there and build a belay straight off but I managed to keep the little dignity I have and moved on. There are three videos constantly running (with the sound off) in various parts of the room. One is a film of a 1937 ascent of one of the cathedral spires, one is part of film of the third ascent of the Salathe and one is of Lynn Hill's free climb of the Nose. There is lots of cool gear. Some of Eichorns stuff. A old leather shoulder pad for Dulfersitz (spelling?) rappelling. The texts are informative and, I think, understandable to a large degree by non-climbers. A cool exhibit. Check it out.

Hey Ken,

I know you've really put way more than 6 months into everything. Way more. Went in today. Everything looks really good. Thanks for all the hard work on this and everything else you do in the climbing world.

Sean.
