Hey Michelle, I haven't been chiming in too much here because you seem to be doing better. However, if you need a right-winger to lean a shoulder on...I'm here.

You can e-mail too. I don't mind at all. I'm still not clear as to what is bothering you. But feel free to e-mail me.

I also have my new one-step program. It's a thread I created called, "70's music appreciation". Check it out!

Seriously though. Don't be shy. And music can be a great healing tool. Especially funky 70's shit!

for me
there is no peace. no serenity.
there is only the screaming silence.

i find absent that sanity, too.
instead only sedated chaos.

keeping my head down though, cause the view is better right in front of me paws.

lol you guys are funny. I in fact got my nails done, finally accepting that I wont be climbing anytime soon. thats ok for now. start school tuesday. doing yoga. watching my monster hdtv and piddleing on eBay looking for loose gemstones for hella cheap.

70's appreciation.. mmmmm. no.

John, I 'll msg you but the disability is ptsd. I got a raw deal. The VA is more than making up for it though and then some, so its a sweet deal, despite what I had to go through. short story, it was an assault.

hanging in there. did some major spiritual/energy healing work to rid myself of the stale connection with the ex. made a HUGE difference (for all you hippies who are into the new age crap.. i speak facetiously)

alright, I'm back in the game.

riley, wouldnt expect anything else..

The abominable snowman is my absolute favorite. I have several of them in my office (including slippers with him). Some smile-spreading videos of him - he's psyched to know Michelle is feeling better:

As I'm easily amused, I find this quite funny. :)

I also most associated this song with the Abominable Snowman. I find it cool that this is Michelle's avatar. It's a GOOD (gud) song and offers great advice for when we are down!

(the original video's have been removed from youtube. boo).

just because you dont have to work doesnt mean you (your soul) doesnt have to work. keep moving. keep doing. keep saying "hi" to others, you never know who youll meet. the devil is in the details.

Waaaaa

you think you are the only person around with problems? Look around. Have you ever been to Africa? Ever seen someone with polio? Ever met a child with limbs blown off by buried mines who has to deal for the rest of her life? Or a child without parents because they were killed in civil war?

Get over it.

Hey Michelle, SO glad to hear things are going well.
I hate to be the Danny downer, But remember....life is a pendulum, and those bad thoughts will return. You and few others can understand how tough it is to deal with an adversary that is actually within. It knows you, it knows everything about you and exactly where your weaknesses are.
Feelings of saddness, remorse, anguish and anger are all part of life. Without these feelings we wouldn't appreciate feelings like love, happiness, success and so on.
BE VIGILANT! It's OK to feel sad or angry with the challenges life can throw at us, but learn to know when enough's enough, and at the first sign of this demon's reappearance you must attack it with overwhelming force. Every time you beat these feelings back you get stronger.
Take pride in your strength and resilience.
Im proud of you!
Thank you for your service!
Much love..

Michelle, I can relate to your OP. I'm in day by day.... The suns out today and I'm gonna get out. BTW, we all have a tremendous effect on lot's of people, some we don't even think of. Hang tough, pray, post up, go climb even if you feel your not in shape (God knows I'm not), but I know that these folks here are the best (For the most part) caring, compassionate people.

You are loved!! Hell, don't push it, we are all gonna check out soon enough. Besides, tomorrow may be the best, you just never know.
