Chaz, that particiular llama nailed my daughter moments later while in an food dispute with one of his fellows. A week later he puked oats dwon the front of my shirt in front of a client and her daughter. They are onery, but you usually know when it's coming.

How do I steal Ouch's version to send to my daughter? [never mind, another trick for this old dog]-Funny stuff BTW!

Re the dumb stuff
I've pulled so many of those, I don't know where to start.

When I was a kid,I saw one of those minutemaid oj commercials with Bing Crosby where he croons,"Bannanas are my favorite because they have a-peal."

Took me a solid decade to get it. I hadn't even realized it was a pun!

Lois,
Donkey's name is Molly, she is about 15 years old. She has been here for about ten years, she came from an animal rescue group. You can't tell by looking at her, but her former owners starved her and neglected to do other basic donkey maintnence. I'm lucky, my sister and brother-in-law live close by and they will watch the farm here for me if I want to get away for a week or so.

You're right about goats and their destructive nature. I let the donkey and goats out into the yard a couple times a week to let them eat their fill of "horticultural assets". Roses are their favorites, thorns and everything. I've seen news stories about herds of goats being used to clear weeds for fire-breaks. I've tried doing the same thing, but mine seem nore interested in chewing the bark off the trees, knocking over trash cans, and crapping all over the roof.

Goats are an asset. When I was a kid we had a goat that took care of the lawn all summer. When fall came and we no longer needed a lawn mower, we had barbecued goat! A win-win proposition!

Chaz, our goats loved stripping bark off trees too, many times to the detriment of the tree (they loved weeping willow bark) but they were handy in keeping down the grass and weeds on the hill - cheap weed abatement for when the fire department came around to give weed abatement notices.

Yeah, just ask that guy that was mauled by the chimps last year; Face, penis, foot torn off, etc. Didn't stand a chance.

How true that is....I worked for a wild animal park back in the late 70's for about 6 months and got to help train the chimps..
The name "Larry the Lion Tamer" still haunts me...but let me tell you, playing and wrestling with these apes was tough...
You had to stick your hand in their mouth while playing to show trust and they would pat your mouth back....pretty wild stuff...
