Good for you, Lynne. Just be careful. Getting seriously injured or killed coming off a high-ball doesn't add to your store of good karma.

Is the Tioga chipmonk still on the wall?

Hi Lynne,

Good to hear you are gett'in after it. You live in a great place up there at TPR, and close to some of the best rock around. I like the phrase, "the pull of excitement and the push of fear" when it comes
to highballs or big runouts.

Hope to get out with you and your best friend one of this days soon.

Well, I edited the pic but didn't get it to "stick". So still sideways...... Just wanted yo to know the boulder really exists. It's only a VO with one * but it will always remain special to me.

If I can figure this pic stuff out I'll start a Tioga Thread. Lots of great pics to post.

Using one of two computers at the Visitor Center in Lee Vining is challenging cause so many want to use them, so my time to figure stuff out is limited. Peace, Lynne

hey there say, lynnie/lynne.... wow and oh my, all rolled into one!... :))

say, i am late, just a tad to share here, but CONGRATS TO YOU!...

i really liked this part, in your quote:

I knew physically I could easily pull it off....it was the mental aspect that was so very important to me.

job well done, and thanks for the neat share, to inspire us all, whether we climb, walk, or ride, or any other such things...

:)

god bless, and many more adventures of success to you!

I saw Lynnie on Friday. She said it wasn't really that, highball, but "High for me" I just saw the picture, and have climbed that boulder, our gal lynnie is gettin' off the ground! (possible cross post)

Julia does work too much ! Wish I could get her out more. She is an incredible gal, friend and wealth of information.

Guido and Boodawg stopped by TPR on Friday and said John Gill actually posted on this Thread. I get to the computer pretty rarely for me nowdays, but if JoGill is his avatar I am honored. Would love to meet him and talk rock and the years of climbing with such a major player in this incredible life sport.

Yesterday I found a new way to exit highballs. I'll get the pic emailed to me and post it soon I hope. Joyfully, Lynne

EDIT: As always so great to see Yo Jaybro. Thanks for the better pic. :D

I should have stopped at TPR and introduced myself and said "hello" to a fellow Tacoan on my way home to the ranch from the Valley last Thursday. Went right past the place at uuuhh-lets forget how fast I went past. I was on a roll.

Had some time to maybe boulder a bit, though....

after several days of backpacking in the Palisades stopped by TPR on our return to Santa Cruz to meet the incomparable Lynnie! What a neat lady with a soul and spirit that is truly curious about all that life has to offer. So glad I over came my shyness and decided to just stop and introduce myself.
