Nice to start the day with a smile, thanks for that and continued health for all your cute lil' munchkins Todd. There is few things worse than one of your kids being seriously sick or hurt where the outcome may be uncertain. As a parent, if I could have - I would have taken all the hard hits if it would have spared my kids. Watching them be sick or hurt like this (not talking simple things cold or where you knew things would be fine like where the boy fell down the stair and broke his arm) was tough, damn tough. It must be a hell of a relief to you that it all worked out fine. Congrats!
My youngest just came home from college yesterday, is sleeping in the next room now, and looking at the pics of your kids brings back great memories of how fantastic those days of old were! I miss em. I'm ready to be a grandpa and spoil my grandkids rotten with extra hugs kisses and everything they want....ponies, bikes, trips to the zoo and cotton candy: the works!

interesting interview of neurobiologist's challenge of correlating the vision of her two misaligned eyes into stereo vision and perception of 3d world. new understanding of brain development and adaptability in later life. her astronaut husband helped her undertake the sensory journey that paralleled challenges in space. human interest, brought home by our empathy for von's world.
