Not at Finnskogen, but with a close connection to Norwegian history - Granavolden at Hadeland:

I wasn't aware, but now it is ordered. Seems like the book is well written and the drawings are superb...

Mighty Hiker

Yes, a climber he is, Nesbø, easily identified by his sunglasses, and an internationally recognized and celebrated crime author...

Have you read the last issue of "Tidsskrift for norsk Alpinklatring" (2017)?

There's an article by Ben Johnsen and Ivar Walaas about Alf B. Bryn, multitalented and a formidable Norwegian climber in the years from 1907-1915. Not much progress was seen in Norwegian climbing during the next 20 years. He had a lot of FAs, many in Norway (Stetind among them) and some in the Alps, the needle of Salbitschijen maybe the most daring... When the picture you see below was shown in the Akademischer Alpenclub in Zürich it caused the sensation they expected. Many climbers had tried, but turned on the way.

... and there's many more cool articles. Among them one about Colorado based Rannveig Aamodt (It was like coming home).

Everything in Norwegian.
