hey there say, mouse... wow, once again, fine job...
say, am sending you an email, soon, as to secret project time...
:)
also, say, gnome of thediabase, did you ever get my email, a few weeks back, hope i was explaining about the picture, on the flames in a understanding, share, type way...
hope it did not come out wrong... just did not get a reply, so i never knew if you got it...
well, back to the 'need to do's' that i got lined up tonight, :)
happy flame time... wow, it is looking like winter, around here...
but we may get about three sunny days in the midst of the
'pre' set-up...
though, supposedly it will be in the mid 30's to the mid-or-20's for our low... oh my... ten degrees colder this month, nearly all day, as to last year, this time... .and, if i remember right, LAST year was ten degrees, or so?? colder than the year before...
say, if this?? keeps up will we'all over here, turn into 'canada' ;)

Madness...it's madness, I tell you!!!!
John Martin, engraver and artist.
"A great soul lapped in majestic and unearthly dreams," is how Bulwer-Lytton described "Mad Martin."
No realist, he. Like Blake.
The landscape of imagination appealed, not the surroundings of LondonO0O0O0O.

RIP Brooke. Gone after 20 months of battling melanoma and only thirty-three years. She kicked melanoma's ass, but died in the process.

When I was a boy I thought about the times I’d be a man
I’d sit inside a bottle and pretend that I was in a can
In my lonely room I’d sit my mind in an ice cream cone
You can throw me if you wanna ‘cause I’m a ball and I go boo-bip-bip boo-bip-bip yeah!
If I don’t start cryin' it’s because that I have got no eyes
My father’s in the fireplace and my dog lies hypnotized
Through a crack of light I was unable to find my way
Trapped inside a night but I’m a day and I go
boo-bip-bip boo-bip-bip, yeah!

Thirst things first, and zBrown's broken sweat! For a cool dude, playan and all that, this is a first.
You've got a lot of verve, I must say, my friend.
And so, since it was my lead, I decided to just nail the damn roof. This proved harder than freeing it.
How do I know this? My third placement came out with my weight.
I was forced to make a desperate move out of my slings.
Reaching a fingertip high into the crack above, and suspending all of my weight on that, I did the hardest one-arm pull-up I've ever done, simply because it had to be done.
And the rest is history.
Climb at your own damn risk.
And wear a helmet, for chrissake.

Oh, someone pooped in old Half Dome's spring.
Who would've done such a nasty old thing?
It's not of pea-wee we sing.

Early-day Mail Service pilots needed visual aids.
Congress approved this pathway of concrete arrows--lit at night by generator-run beacons on fifty-foot towers--and set out at intervals of ten miles.

I've been wondering why someone would post a music video which "I made for one of my favorite summer tunes :-): (Published on Feb 22, 2014")
with no music. cough, cough
Also, wouldn't you think Jeff would stay out of Malibu with a reception like this:

I was also wondering how you can tell whether a dog (albeit a small one) has been hypnotized. Could this be the work of Rasputin or one of his ilk?
Roof is waterproof at this point. All the t-paper is up and some of the asphault shingles. Nobody took a dump on it, which is always good.
Nice photos Mr. ttRope. How much do you want for the tractor?. I'll pay a fair price, but I ain't paying taxes on it.

Prodigious almost work like
Man yoo're hard to compliment.
let see I have photos of an Italian Mastiff n shepherd mix and my babies but the wife says that I can not use them
The other dog a Newfoundland Pit bull mix
The two dogs kind of are famous for crashing weddings and BBQ's!
this passion of yours the mix of "middle earth" and the great 'ditch' gives me whiplash in a good way though.
There is a photo of an early snow in the valley that CMac Has up on his eBay auction
is it terrible form to insert it into my poem here in flames or "another poetry thread"?
Answering my own question, yes poor form indeed
but it is a deed I sorely want to undertake.

I have this friend, Tommy. He's an ex-con and happens to be black, too. He hates Gummi-Bears, though, unlike the other Tommy, the climber, who happens to be white.
My friend's from over in Dos Palos, has ten brothers and sisters by several fathers, one of whom I worked with making steel drums in a factory for ten years.
He's a friend I made through neebee, and the story is too involved to go into, but is found earlier here in this long, long thread. Had to do with finding someone here in town this spring.
(Tommy got together with Sophie last week, neebee--she's doing just fine.)
We took a walk last summer during the Art Hop--the morning they were preparing it, that is.
We ended up at the 510 Bistro in the Square drinking to our friendship.
We talked little about race, more about The Blues, his sister, who owns property, a ranch, in Mariposa, and chicks.
He's very proud of his person. He's difficult to know, though. He's like all of us--he hides the things of which he's not so proud--his illiteracy, his "record," and certain family members.
He is very guarded, in other words, and for some reason takes offense when I try to make sense out of what he's telling me. Like he can't tell a thing straight through, leaves things out that he may think I know but which I do not, and finally blows up and starts in on me.
CHEESH! It's tough being a friend, sometimes. I keep trying. We have little cooling off periods where we don't associate, but then things come 'round and we are off to see the wizzard once more.
And the vibes are good and gracious.
It's a merry-go-round friendship, a thermometer friendship.
I don't expect every friendship to last, nor to come to a good end.
I just am trying to enjoy them while I can...God makes them for me as a favor.
Thanks, old man.
Just a late-night radio talk on what used to be Sunday.
He doesn't know CosmicCragsman, he says.
Oh, where have you been, Tom's darling young one?
No way, Mouse.
His name is Carl. We'll leave it at that.
And that's the way to have fun with friends.
Tommy and I rode the bus to Yosemite in August.
He's been back twice to the Bridge.
He's spending more time at his sister's ranch.
He has many of the same problems that I do, but deals differently.
I'm learning a lot from him, as well.
We all could, I bet.
