L,
Sorry to inform you but you are now marked. Larry's daughter doesn't have his disposition. Run, hide, it's your only hope. I hear she's an expert with a sword.
On the other hand Larry is probably quite pleased he could be considered married to a MUCH younger woman. There's a ray of salvation for you.

Ruh Roh. My bad.
But Leslie and her daughter could pass as twins, as you know (confirmed in a thread a couple years ago by a photo of both walking on a beach).
Besides, Larry's daughter might want to pink me, but his wife will probably feel just the opposite. ;-)

Appreciation for Larry, I'll agree on that.
I am somewhat in the outer circles of the taco fireside, and Larry is the only STopian whom I've actually climbed with:
On this Swedish and less-than-Yosemite-quality rock, Larry is trying to add safety into my dubious 2-piece belay:
Larry on Kullen, my homecrag in SW Sweden, 2 hours from Copenhagen:
What I also like about Larry is his love and knowledge of small, obscure - and beautyfull - Greenlandic fishing settlements. For example these ones:
Can you name them, Larry?
Looking forward to see you on the rock soon! New England next?

The father-daughter pic from his present CO trip reminded me of what I believe is some of Chiloe's finest writing, a story of a past CO/Wyo trip. Some of you may have already read it, but if not here is the link:

video feed or not, I'm betting the conversations will be like opening one of these slide binders...just one shelf in the library.
I'm looking forward to seeing this trip's additions to the Colorado years!

and yesterday ...
TKingsbury will instantly recognize the crack climb and the summit that Ferguson
posted upthread. It might have been that very evening, at a beer-fueled acronym session,
that Ferguson invented the ORCAS (Organization of Rock Climbing Arctic Scientists).
GOclimb, I well remember that cold winter day when I met you and many other MASS
CLIMBERS down at Quincy. Which surely deserves a place on those worst-crag lists,
but I had a great time anyway and made a bunch of new friends. That Red Rock trip with
you and Julia, my own head so full of devils (guess I wasn't hiding it well), still remains a
bright memory.

Alas, I cannot. If I'm lucky I know Maniitsoq from Qaqortoq, or Igaliko from Illullissat,
but there's so much more Greenland I haven't seen yet.

OK, fair; they are VERY obscure.
1st are Godhavn/Qeqertarsuaq [=big island] below the 1000 m volcanic rocks on Disko Island.
2nd are from the very small 60-inhabitant Niaqornat on Nussuaq peninsular.
Just vent there 1 month ago. Nice!

Jim is right, she’s wicked fast with a sword. Although it’s been years since anyone
needed stabbing, as far as I know. I proudly watched Sarah talk yesterday about
"Franco, the Hydraulic Paradigm, and Environmental Reality in Spain." Later, she
laughed often as she read through this thread. Today we’ll go climbing.
Rgold guessed wrong about who I was with, but dead right about where we were.
Comparing his photo with ours, you’ll see a great drop in the level of Lake Isabelle.
