my buddy Lippy (yup, same as in that other thread) -- once sprayed his long knotty dreads with fire engine red enamel spray paint -- because [he said] he thought it would kill the lice that were suddenly making him all itchy all the time. and no one noticed -- at least no one in camp 4.

(i noticed only because we were sharing a small tent at the time and his now 8lb rock hard dreads kept smacking me in the face every time he rolled over in his really stinky sleeping bag. that and his already insane hair was suddenly all nail polish red.)

...and you're worried about possible bed-head in camp 4?

my sister, you really do need time in camp 4...

Like the song says..."Your so Vain, yo pro think this song is about yo...." That is me vain. Just genetic vain ness. Yep, in the frickin genes.

uhhh... is the "antithesis" of you somewhat akin to the "bad part" of you?

if so, perhaps better we never meet. i'll sleep in woods and wave from the bus...

Pip, I meant it as a compliment to you !

fattrad, English 800 is a beer I take it ????

EDIT: Last year after 10 days my lips and heels were really messed up. What's the best product for keeping them healthy. Ekat, what did you lend me last year for lips ?

Is it Expensive ? Can you hang festive party flags and decorate in Camp 4 ?

One reason it's so fine is that it's quite cheap.

Heels
Sturdy, comfortable, well broken-in footwear.
Clean feet and socks, foot powder.
Prophylactic moleskin.

Lips
Regular application of SPF 15/30 lip salve.

All necessary products available in lodge/village.

Camp 4 Fees
None for FaceLifters, though we do need to register on arrival. Ken has made preservations for us.

Camp decorations probably not needed.

or, if you must wear sandals, use a LOT of lotion.

Anders, one needs to decorate for parties. We shall have one soiree in camp 4 all invited. Sunday, September 20 from 7 to 9:45. That way we can all be in bed at 10 according to the rules.

Dress is CA cocktail casual.....like bullwinkle at the Granite Frontiers opening....perfect :D

Edit: Skully, dirt sticks to lotion. Well, the dirt sticks to just about everything I noticed last year.

"Olde English 800"

With the Olde E, you can forget about any of that other gay lip stuff, as you won't need it.

Of the FaceLifters, only jstan, you and I will be in Camp 4 on September 20th. Unless we dragoon Ken, Jesse, Werner, Rick et al, or invite everyone in Camp 4 (NOT a good idea), we won't have much of a soiree. But we could go out for dinner once we're settled. jstan's train arrives in Merced at 13:08, so he and I should be at Camp 4 by mid/late afternoon.

Camp 4 is pretty much the ghetto of dirtbaggin' these days, Fatty... We'll drink one there, while we laugh at the natives. I haven't stepped foot in Camp 4 in years. Just not the same place anymore. Which is funny, cause it wasn't the same place then, either.

Anders, too late, I've been on email and I've recruited help for a party for all of Camp 4. We will make history in a good way. I still need a volunteer band or musicians. Peace, Lynne

and I will be taking Old 800 donations. It's Sunday, the 20th from 7 to 9:45. Hope to see yo all there. :D

Nefarious: The ghetto will never be the same.
