Any of you guys heard of the Norwegian band Tristania? Not sure how to actually classify them, hard driving beat with really cool vocals by their female leads.

Just thought I would share. Records are making a come back it seems. I saw reissues of Metallica, Kiss, Zeppelin, even punk at the Virgin store.

Scorpions in a metal tread yes. You must listen to really old Scorpions. I remember way back at an old friends house in Cudahay, Ca near Bell Gardens, south Gate. He introduced me to Kerry King from Slayer and we all hung out drinking beer and Kerry King popped this cassette into the player and it was The Scorpions "Fly to the Rainbow". I only new of Lovedrive and Blackout at the time. Well The Scorpions are really good. Check it them out, material with Uli Roth.
Heres some old Scorpions records you should check out.

Ulrich Roth was waaaayyy under-sppreciated. After the Scorp's he started Electric Sun.
I've always loved the old Scorp's.

My favourite these days is Mastodon.
Boris, Lightning Bolt and Hammerfall frequently make the playlist as well.

wow freeeeeeeking strange. i was just kicking to the end of the thread to mention that i've been on a HUGE Sepultura kick again lately. been listening to Chaos A.D. over and over and over and over again for DAYS.
was out with a buddy the other day, and we got talking about Ministry, and i mentioned how my first ever show, when i was 15, was Helmet and Sepultura opening for ministry.
got me thinking about that, and i've just been rocking out with it since. 5 minuts from now, the Ipod goes back on for the ride home from work!

Hey Salad you mean helmet? Helmut is a chic goth band. I'd think someone who likes ministry and bands such as Helmet and Sep would really like Fear Factory. They got more electronic as they went along. Loved their old stuff. Right before people like slipknott started singing metal nursery rymes.
