wow what a flurry over the penis.... posts by all these men, especially when the question was directed at women.
Here ya go:
would you pull a layer of skin off your finger? or your newborn's finger? How about your big toe? Or better yet, a layer of skin off your anus? You should see the contraptions used to hold these screaming infants down so some wack job can happen on their penis. Foreskins do not get "dirty" (did your mamma tell you that?) get over yourselves please .. great sex is had by all.
Save the Foreskins PLEASE

LEB-
by saying the one is not quite right and one is not quite wrong is implying that evolution made some mistake...
I am not at all religious but that is like people referring to the bible and be like "I think what God meant to say..."
one might not be wrong or right, but one is definitely right. And I am surprised this thread is still going

I asked my house-mate.
She said she definitely prefers uncut. Better action ie more skin to slide back and forth.

I am trying to decide whether or not to circumcise my in-utero son.
That would be a really invasive procedure. At least wait until he is born!

I'll never have a docked dick slip through the backdoor. I need a man with sensitivity.

Re Chinese foot binding, there was a saying among the mothers:
"If you love the daughter, you cannot love the feet."
So do we have....
"If you love the son (or just want him to be popular), you cannot love the wanger."?

This book had a profound effect on my understanding of feminism, when I read it in the '70's. It goes into revolting detail on various traditions of oppression of women.
So, extending from that, I stand against the routine mutilation of infants.

You all can certainly argue that it's not necessary from a man's point of view, and if it's kept clean and stretched out, maybe no issues. But the studies showing reduced transmisson of HIV and HPV are pretty solid, not some blogger spouting off.

LEB,
Please post links to many articles, journals, etc. showing data on increase in diseases due to uncircumcised penises (UP).
As you probably know being a nurse a very high percentage of US males are cut as compared to rest of the world percentage. Therefore theres should be a higher percentage of UP related diseases in other countries.
Looking forward to your learned response.

The original question was about female preference. Having experienced both, I vote to remove it. It's just more pleasant from a female point of view.
Besides, since when has male "insensitivity" in that region ever been a problem??

If the utero the fetus is in happens to belong to a woman who will be involved in the life of your son, she's the first woman who's opinion you need....
Is she, and has she provided an opinion? If yes, there's your answer.
Well - You ASKED for women's opinions, and that's mine! hahaha.

http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20227133.200-mass-circumcision-project-plans-to-cut-hiv-risk.html
Circumcision can cut a man's risk of HIV infection by 60 per cent, and in the past African men have queued up to be circumcised. The new programme is funded to the tune of $50 million by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, enough for 650,000 procedures. Under the programme, these will only be carried out by fully trained medical professionals, which could help prevent men from being harmed.
