Update:
Found a suitable replacement in one of my gear totes. It meets proper specs:
1) No mesh
2) Proper bill curvature
3) Good clasp/strap/clip in point
4) Lighter color to minimize heat
5) Survivor of the great purge, bodes well
Mondays aren't all bad.

I'm moderately embarrassed that my go-to hiking hat has become a low-curve trucker's hat, but it's so comfy I'm not embarrassed enough to stop. $30 Prana hat for $3 brand new at a thrift store. And at least I was classy enough to peel off the sticker.

I had a love/hate relationship with Billy Williams. I respected his amazing talents, but hated the way he pounded Gibson.
