Yep, the Giants are barely breathing, but it's still not too late for a massive Dodgers choke.

What's our Magic Number, Tommy?
as of today its 2 ......
Huge series starts today.
Giants must kick ass, to make it. Dodgers must win one or two....
I love it when your future is in your hands... Much like a big old crack climb.

funny coming from a guy who disappeared for a couple of months after the Giants swept the Dodgers.
It cost us a lot of money to keep your picture on those milk cartons from April until August.

It was Kershaw's night. As much as I dislike the Dodgers, you have to respect a performance like that.

It was Kershaw's night.
To be fair, most nights he pitches are Kershaw's night.
Until October, that is...

Sheep flock. At this point other every team that has made the post season are content to be facing the Dodgers and not the Giants.
Congrats apogee, enjoy the post season with your Dodgers blue, and go far.

I haven't been following baseball at all this year, except that my niece Amy was at one time flooding her Facebook Timeline with Giants RAH-RAH earlier this season.
I in fact just now looked at the standings, not really thinking well this early in the morning, without realizing how close we are to the end of the regular season.
So, in spite of being a Giants fan, the lightweight kind, the typicle kind of fan you find in LA, too, I might add, I gotta say to Apogee, we all of us up in Middle Earth hate the stinkin' Dotchers, but love a good rivalry.
"Love the rivalry, not the rival."
Now go try and strike fear elsewhere, punks. Enjoy your cigar while you can.

my son keeps calling Kershaw the "Peyton Manning" of baseball. I told him that wasn't very nice...
Peyton has won a championship.

When Clayton's contract was renewed he was wondering what to do with the money. He thought about buying the Giants....but then remembered he already owns them!
Seriously though...the Giants showed some real class last night in their congratulatory message on the scoreboard. Well done Giants!
And in the end, its just a simple sports rivalry....just entertainment. Winning a Division pales in comparison to news the Vin Scully is coming back next year!

That's so funny, Scott!
Seriously. He owns them already! You nailed it, bro!
And that's good news for the fans about Vin.
He's really the only redeeming aspect of the Dodgers from the SF perspective.

I wish the Dodgers would trade Kershaw. I want to root for him. Guy has some nasty stuff.

Man, ain't that a fact. As far as I'm concerned, Vin Scully is the voice of baseball, and on the day he leaves the game, I'd be sorely tested not to walk away from the field behind him.

Dodgers, Giants.....hard to take either one seriously. They're both in that league that allows pitchers to take pathetic swings at major league fastballs. Opposing pitchers wouldn't even consider risking injury by throwing a curveball.
