Ron,
Jessica Lange wasn't the orginal daisy duke, her shorts were. I believe that king kong movie came out before catherine bach and the dukes of hazard.

That was a ways back.
They rented a ghost town in CA for two months to stage and rehearse the shootout outside the bank. I wish MY Galil ARM was select fire. Damn!

Why, "The Mountain" of course, with Robert Wagner. It's a, ummm, classic of the genre...
Ooops, sorry. I think that's a current photo of one of those Stonemasters.

Thye Mountain is a really good movie, and Jessica Lange and Naomi Watts wish they could be as hot as Fay Wray.

Hey,
maybe that's Gary not Spencer Tracy.
Fat Wray hot? Puulleeeeeeeeeezzzzzz!
King Kong was a seminal B&W special effects film with a powerful message that spoke to, among other things, the emergence of Nazi power, a noble idea of self-improvement corrupted into a horrible monstrosity of hate, while America struggled with the depression and remained strongly isolationist.
But Fay Wray? C'mon. Next Gary is going to say that Wray's subsequent work dwarfs Lange's the way the monkey dwarfed her.
Gary must just have a thing for screamers.
