Peter, I do not find him interesting and I bet he is an ESTP, too superficial for my taste, it's all show~ no real substance.
I'll take a deep thinker, Socrates type over him any day:)

My husband... I really mean it too. He's an MD, competed in sailing, shooting, wrestling at University of Michigan, sailed internationally, worked a year in Nepal, loves Mountaineering. Speaks several languages, has been in more places in the world than anyone else I know. He can fix "anything." Is an air medical volunteer with the Sheriff's Department, has the most interesting and diverse friends, can handle any situation "calmly," scuba dives with sharks, can handle living in the most primitive environments, he drives like a bat out of hell and... Well, the biggest is that he somehow can handle me.
I tease him whenever the Dos Equis commercials go on that it's about him.

My dad. He did nothing spectacular in a worldly sense; But he certainly made my life interesting while he was in this world.
Wayno:
When working in the valley the first time. (1978) I had a girlfriend for a brief period whose father was an astronaut, "Rusty" Schweickart, who flew in Apollo 9. Interesting man indeed, he fascinated me. He had this look in his eyes that said he had seen things few people ever see.
He came to Yosemite to visit his daughter and we went backpacking and at night he would lay there and point out constellations and tell the story of how they came to be. He seemed to know all of them.
edit:
RokJox: you speak the obvious... of course he had to know the constellations... the point was having an astronaut give you a personal guided tour of the night sky.

Hugh Hefner comes to mind. How does an out of shape old man pull off having a foursome every night with three fine women?

Mntmun- you posted a picture of Tom Brokaw. Funny story- dad just called and was just fishing in a very remote area of the Bahamas and helped out a few folks he ran into that day (he got them into the bonefish). They invited him to a fishing club for dinner. He showed up and Tom B. walked up to him and said "I've heard you are someone I need to talk too!" Pretty interesting I guess?

Curious if a simple criteria can be developed to decide a running list on why someone should be considered the Most Interesting Man in the world?
It is odd that using a very popular add, as a title, makes some folks see sexist remarks. God help you. I love the pigmies in Africa!

Mtnmun- Dad is still a blast! He prefers the USA now, considering he has sampled it all. He doesn't give stories away. He will tell but you have to ask.
Ever hear of the natives on North Sentinel Island? He went to shore there and built a big fire in the mid-sixties. Only knowing that the old pilot books warned ship-wrecked mariners that natives were hostile. "That was written a long time ago" he thought. He was attacked by 200 warriors with bows and arrows that evening.
When the big Tsunami hit Thailand/Indonesia and India a few years back (2004?), dad's first comment was, "I bet it didn't get the Sentinelize"
I saw a picture in TIME magazine, from a chopper, just after the quake of a North Sentinel warrior firing an arrow at it! Dad said, "good for them, they still got it"

Q-Ball,
from Wikipedia;
The local government (Andaman and Nicobar Islands) has recently stated that they have no intention to interfere with the lifestyle or habitat of the Sentinelese. Although the island is likely to have suffered seriously from the effects of the December 2004 tsunami, the survival of the Sentinelese was confirmed when, some days after the event, an Indian government helicopter observed several of them, who shot arrows at the hovering aircraft, with the apparent intent of repelling it.[4]
North Sentinel Island is home to a tribe of indigenous people, the Sentinelese, whose present numbers are estimated to be anywhere between 50 and 400 individuals. They reject any contact with other people, and are among the last people to remain virtually untouched by modern civilization.[3] Because there has never been any treaty with the people of the island, nor any record of a physical occupation whereby the people of the island have conceded sovereignty, the island exists in a curious state of limbo under established international law and can be seen as a sovereign entity under Indian protection.
First friendly encounter ever with N. Sentinelese:
