Bluering. Post your real name or e-mail me and come to visit.
I just bought one of those Sierra Estate Beers. Eight bucks, phooey. Was it worth eight bucks? hard to say, cuz I'm broke. But that beer was holy smoke'ems good.
Thanks for the rec.
I'd drink that stuff all day if I had the cash. If not, a cheaper alternative would be the yellow firestone. That stuff is good.
Ghost- over the summer my buddy made a beer that tasted a lot like the Sierra Estate- while the boil was going, he drove to chalfant to pick hops off the plant for the the finishing hop, and maybe the one before. Anyway it was silalar. kind of fruity, but in a good way, not like stuck fermentation green apples, but closer the fruity of a weiss bier.

Haha, Tom! Glad you liked it, and yeah, it is over-priced. I probably wouldn't buy it again, but I'm glad I tried it. Ya know?
My name is Steve, btw, my last name is the Italian word for 'practical', ironically...
I think I met you once at the base of Lembert Dome. Me and my German buddy were walking off and ran into you and your wife/girlfriend. I think you had a dog too.
Maybe another Tom.

I'd be in for a ST brewery/cragging tour.

My daily drinker is Blue Heron Ale out of Mendocino Brewing Co., my wife picks it up at Trader Joe's. I like Sierra Nev Pale Ale but prefer this one, it just hits the spot right on.
I did get up over the Holiday's to the Chico brewery and tasted some new one's, the Torpedo ale was great.

That could have been me on Lembert Dome. Anyway, the beer was one of the best I've had in a long time.
I ended up sharing it, though I have a feeling that if I drank the whole thing I would have been done. In that sense, the $8 wouldn't have been that bad.
I followed it up with one of the yellow Firestones. That's a good beer too, and cheaper.

Wow! I love Stout beers. That one, I'm sure, is pure quality.
I like the way Sierra Nevada is going.
Nita just brought one home for me. Pretty sweet for a tea-totaler. There's more in her bag, but she says, "Hands Off!!! those are prizes for my upcoming ST contest!"
I always liked you guys. Nita is a great gal, and you are a cool guy to hang with.
Cheers! I will definitely try the new Stout. Thanks for the heads-up.

Werd, Dwain....
You should make the Facelift this year and we can partake with Nita and TTR. The dude plays a mean guitar!
And we may have a SuperTacoFest this year too. My fish tacos last year at Meatfest were pretty gud! We could do both meat and fish SuperTacos....
