Yowl!
Here I am again, drunk on friday night.
At least I went fishing today & had a big time, even if my one & only photo sucked.
Big hopes for that ST party of 3 exiting El Cap this weekend in upright positions.

^^ Yes! We cheated death once again. ^^
We did exit the crag more or less in upright positions, but after schlepping two hundred-pound-or-so loads from summit to base, my back has still not quite straightened.
On the final haul, Plaid and Jerry had substituted a one-gallon water bottle for the usual two-litre bottle as a knot protector, and as we forced their Junk Show over the final lip at the top, the larger hole in the top of the gallon jug worked its way over the knot, and put a core shot in Jerry's nice new haul line.
But the rope has been put to good use - Tow Joe Marley used it to replace the third rope going down the East Ledges, and the core shot is positioned in the loop of a rebelay so you can easily rap past it when riding hundreds of pounds of piggage.
So it's Friday afternoon here in Montreal, and Anita514 tells me she will try to escape from work early. I'm still drinking coffee, but there is a bottle of Chilean Chard on ice, and she is taking me to the Polar Bear's Club tomorrow. And NO - it's not that insane Hoser tradition of chain-sawing a hole through the ice and jumping into the lake on New Year's Day - this water is heated!
Kinda like those hot springs down the road from the Green Church, except one assumes they use natural gas to heat them.
Will have to remember to bring our Costco "Incognito" cups. You know, for coffee.....
Cheers, eh?

Last time I was at Willys aka Crowley, the clay "shorelines" were kind of collapsing, and the water was somewhat muddy. Have they "fixed" this at all? It appeared as though the pool was getting bigger by the day.

Good Friday evening everyone!
It's a lovely night up here in the Great White North. I am most of the way through a lovely bottle of Carnivor [sic] 2013 Cab Sauv from the highly rated Appelation Modesto. And here I thought Warren Harding, not Royal Robbins, was the wine aficionado.
"Yes sir-ee ... one o' these days, ah'm gonna pull mah pants down to mah waist, and re-TAHR in Florida!"
So my buddy Rhett stumbled upon this little gem the other day, whilst surfing the web, hopefully during company time.
I'm not even sure who the dude is who took it...?

Anyway, I think you-all need to write your caption. The more you drink, the funnier it gets!
Love to all my Friday night friends, like Susie-Q [where are you?] and Fritz and Mouse and Gnome and Lizzy/Neebee and Jeff and Craig and Reilly and Phyl and Big Mike and Locker [wtf is your real name anyway?] and Lollie and Dwain and Weeg and Dean and the rest of you reprobates, delinquents and recalcitrants.
And of course a sweet little cutie from the Great White North whose arms I need wrapped around me asap like tomorrow night... Anita Nother Kiss!

Well, geez ... what the hell you guys drinkin' tonight???
Ask that long-bodied skinny-legged annoyingly-still-skinny-assed LONG-talkin' rodent to git on here, and say somethin', dammit!
Did you all know that Ferretlegger is the First Ascensionist of Church Bowl Tree, arguably Yosemite's most popular - and most greasy - climb???
Yes, folks - even though he doesn't look it, he REALLY IS THAT OLD!

Jesus was adApted? O'Really? He was an adaptation of the traditional Jewish model? The traditional Lamb?
Geez ... someone needs to show Tyson how to do the fancy-shmancy embed thingy of the Youtube thingy here on McTopo, you know, where you get the video embedded right here in the post?
Help? Anyone?
Bueller??
P.S. Dude! Were you snipped TODAY???? Did you get Vicodin? Are you a Eunuch now???

I'm just following the rules :)
Yep snipped - nope jewels intact just ornamental.
The adapted was in response to the bumper sticker I saw that said adopted. I think adapted maybe slightly more humorously accurate.
Even high I'm able to do the fancy embedding. Perhaps I should up my intake.
