Hard to choose between Trump and Cruz, but......I think I'd choose Trump.
The main reason is that I really believe that Cruz is actually committed to all the evangelical BS, and really believes in the second coming and that these are the end times. And that it would be his duty to God (which comes before the country or the Constitution), to enable the end by firing every nuclear weapon at everybody.
I do not believe that Trump has such a vision.
Trump has exhibited a sense of self-preservation, Cruz has not.

McTopo makes it easy to embed YooToob videos. There is a VIDEO button at the top of the text window when adding a comment. You paste in the YouToob identification code, which is the part of the YooToob URL that comes after the "=" equals sign.
I guessed that someone (it was Comedy Central) had uploaded that clip to YooToob. CC.COM also uploads Daily Show clips to YooToob.

I still hold a firm belief that he will not win the nomination. He may look like a "winner" right up until the votes hit the ballot box, but media spin and polling stats are just sponsored opinions.

The scary part about Trump is that he has a concealed-carry permit for the pistol he wears under his $100,000 Savile Row suit.
When he loses at the ballot box, he might revert to being the violent, spoiled brat he was as a child, stamp his little feet in rage, and then stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and start shooting people in front of Trump Tower.

HFCS, I have nothing but good things to say about Bernie. He's a class act, 100%. I think both he and Hillary have run a reasonably fair campaign, certainly one of the cleanest in memory.
That said, I think Hillary's foreign policy experience tips the scales to her. At the town hall the other night she showed command of the issues, the '02 Iraq war vote notwithstanding. .
But hey, I'm a moderate Dem with as many friends to my left as to my right. Well, maybe less to my right, in all honesty. I'll say this, if Bernie gets the nod, I'll be an enthusiastic supporter. I hope his supporters come around and support her if she's nominated. I think most will.
We can not under any circumstances let Trump or Cruz occupy the White House. I'll vote for the person most prepared to defeat them.
