Of course the DNC rigged the primary in favor of clinton. that is chicken sh#t internal politics. Not FORIGN State Sponsored spec op to influence the outcome of our election. And it seems pretty damn plausible the Trump is in on it... he is putins bitch. Weather he knows it or not is the more interesting question. Yes I think a good working relationship with Russia is esentual for world peace but No i do Not Like the ZRussians rigging our election.

But I don't give a pass to those who go along passively. To get along, keep silent as the noose is passed over the head, the church is bombed, the wages not paid
This seems so stereotyped, Ken. Have you lived in a rural environment, outside large metro areas? What you are saying certainly is familiar to me from some sixty years ago growing up in the Deep South, but I don't see any of that where I now live in southern Colorado.

From Reuters:
Congress may also take up conservative Medicare reform proposals that could hit the pocketbooks of future retirees.
Premium support, an idea long advanced by House Speaker Paul Ryan, would replace today's defined set of promised Medicare benefits with an annual voucher that enrollees would use to buy health insurance in a market exchange. Competing plans could include traditional Medicare and plans offered by commercial insurance companies. The impact on premiums would depend on the specifics of whatever program might be enacted.
Meanwhile, conservative think tank the Heritage Foundation has proposed raising the eligibility age for Medicare from 65 to "at least 68" over a period of 10 years, and then indexing it to life expectancy. Unless they are still working, these folks would rely on whatever replaces the ACA for health insurance.
It all adds up to a period of frightening uncertainty about coverage and cost over the next few years for people close to retirement, and possible higher Medicare costs for those already in retirement.
One thing it does not sound like is a formula to make healthcare great again.
Hmmmm. I'm 64.

They need to do something to rescue Medicare. It's not in good financial shape. It has been very good to me, however. I pay $134 a month for Part B and another $280 for Anthem's best supplemental plan.
I hope Medicare is as good for my daughter who is 52. I'll cross my fingers for you guys who are approaching 65.

That is exactly the point. I have, and understand what you describe.
However, when you ally yourself with the people who do things like that, even though you don't see it in your community, you don't escape the association.
We had people in this country, who I really think were not anti-semetic, who supported the rise of Hitler, because they thought he was a wonderful LEADER.
They were not evil people, they were not violent. I believe that they became known as "useful idiots", because they could be led to do things that hurt their own country and causes.
Your friends in So Colo, good people all, have chosen to stand with the KKK, and that is acceptable to them. The end justifies the means.

And now we see the belittlement of opponents, cripples, women, anyone perceived as "weaker". The Gov't of bullies. John, you are about to find out just how weak and inconsequential the group is to which you belong.
Trump owes nothing to anybody----including the electorate, or American Citizens. They didn't make him mighty, HE made himself mighty, in his view. He owes you N O T H I N G.

Wow. Yury, Your friends got played big time!
On democracy, race, religion, immigration, the law, press freedom, on nearly everything he has said promises a violation of the Constitution. What's particularly obscene about it is that he has no concept of the Constitution or Bill of Right or mechanism of government. He seems to think the nuclear equation is a sort of video game and NATO is a country club. And, his cabinet is a caricature of nepotism and oligarchy. It's obvious from his actions he thought POTUS was a part-time gig. Everything he does is solely in reference to himself. It was funny, but now the clusterf*#k begins.

"Ken, I'm sure just as many Republicans held their nose and voted for Trump, as the nose holding Democrats gagged, while voting for Hillary..."
I didn't and I know of others who voted for Hillary felt the same as me. Not perfect but I didn't buy into the 30 plus years of attacks by the republicans on her.
Now we have a grab them by the pussy president who has republicans jumping for joy, them own him, not me.

Norton, the narcissism is transparent. And it means he doesn't give a f*#k about you or me or anyone other than how it reflects on bolstering his fragile ego.
Add a pinch of ADD and OCD, and, posssibly, a trace of high functioning Asperger's.
