Does Mrs. Bluering know about your Asian friends and that you are going to do "rockclimb" with them or to them?
Just make sure the one who packs an AK that the gun and the bullets are NOT made-in-China. Chinese made AKs are not as good as Russian or Czech made AKs and they are likely to jam or misfire (often in the wrong direction then intended).

If those girla are "birthday gifts" for Kev, then Mrs. Bluering has nothing to worry about.
I wonder if Kev can continue to FA Shuteye the very next day after his "Fest?" Oh well, Kev will only be turning 40 and he is still a young man with a lot of drive.
Bluerng- do you know how to get a few members of the Swedish Ski Team over here to join us in our future climb?

If these two are going to be there, so will I. I'll cancel all else this weekend.
I'd be perfectly happy with the western version too
Happy Birthday Kev!

Happy Birthday Kev!! Pound some St. Peter's Brand (Dutch Bier).....it'll put hair on your......er....
Susu-
Boo hoo!! Was hoping you and John could make it then. Then you could meet the Misses and climb like girlies! ;)
Going to Brutus' public memorial this coming up weekend. ALL are invited....regardless if you knew him or not. Em (his wife) has been clear about making it an open invite. Climbing at Whitney Portal one day and then A-Hills the next. Lots of Sapporo....hauling it up to the Stonehouse Friday, along with lots of ice and boom box. If any of the Slut-Eye crew can make it, please do! Brutus would have wanted it that way. He was always into meeting new folks and climbing with them.

Happy Birthday Big Kev!
Did not know Big Kev had a lady friend. Could she be the blonde with Big Kev I saw in June last year at Chico Hot Springs in Montana? My lady friend and I were up in Pray, Montana for a week of R&R and saw Big Kev with this lady there attending a wedding.

Ahhhh, how sweet, Bluey, thank you! We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out w/you and everyone, too. Was a truly great time, even through all that rain that hit last night. Great smiles and laughs all weekend!
Mooch, Though we never met Brutus, very much appreciate your invitation this w/e, and all the wonderful things we've heard about the man. We've had a special celebration of our own planned for next weekend for several months now... But maybe we'll rethink Labor Day and end up around Shuteye afterall. Would be nice to meet up again and get to LE for the pools some more.

Damn, I forgot about the scorpion sashimi!
This was the best ending to a 12 day climbing trip I have ever had!
Oh and let's not forget when kev worked his B-day assailants to the ground, avoiding flying chairs and kicks to the head, thus getting the tap-out in good style!
It doesn't get any better than this!

Thanks for the pics susu! Love the pic of you on Gray Ham, how did it go?
To bad I missed all the fun.
Mony and I were up there yesterday, the place was a ghost town. Put up a new route on Minerva.
