Loved it, Bluering. I've never seen that cliff look so appealing, got to get out there. Bonus for good dad action.

My ankle is almost normal size now. No doctors, no meds, just 2 benadryls and rubbing alcohol.

Blitzo, nice pic.

This thread is a place for people to place comments AND PICS of the area. That's the point!

Thanks, Blitzo!

What is that 5.8 bolted chimney up Off The Wall Pin? I've done the 5.10 arete and it was good.

Blitzo the 5.8 chimney we did was 8 clips to an anchor (that needs work), the climb is , strangely, unnamed. 'Off the wall' is your 10.c arete route that a couple was doing whilst I did the chimney.

There is a 5.8 called 'seperated reality' between the Chimney and Spacewalk that I just discovered in the guide...why didn't I see that at the time? I was looking for easier routes too!

I don't think that;s the bite, Jingy. It may be.

I got like 30 bites in various stages on my legs from mosquitoes. I tend to itch the piss outta them, peel off scabs and move on. That may be scab removal project that abscessed on my foot.

Gotta keep that immune system happy!

Today my foot is almost normal.....

Thanks, fluffy, that swim IS highly recommended out to the island.

Most of our crew went out in their underwear. A man (and Cleo) has to do what he has to do.

Good times!

Seth, Lyme disease is usually charcterized by a bullseye type infection around the tick bite.

Do other critters carry it?

He was feeling pretty lethargic to boot, so if you are not feeling constantly sore and constantly tired, a.k.a not yourself, then probably no worries.

Sorry if I caused concern, but ticks and lyme disease freak me the f#@k out

The chimney was fun and very straightforward, though beware of the quicklinks that really don't look bomber. When I went to top out the rope almost jumped out of them, the gates are messed up.
