If we start nominating SuperTopians for leash-hood, pretty soon we'll all be on a leash. So let's not go there.

Thanks for the boundary Anders. It was the leashed you could do, given circumstances.

It appears that puns on SuperTopo have a new leash on life.
(There was once a product for ice-climbing tools with that name.)

Buck up Obama. I'm allergic to everything but I have always had pets, played sports, etc. You can beat it or you can let it beat you. Be a man and get the pound puppy!

OK, now it's time for a first kitty, and so a First Kat. Enough of this presidential discrimination against felines!! There are more cats in the USA than dogs, after all.
And while the Obamas are at it, they should get a bird, too. Maybe a parakeet. The First Bird - after all, wasn't it Thomas Jefferson who had a virtual menagerie?

I agree with Chaz, Labs are good kid dogs, for the most part. But Chaz, what goat would you pick if you lived in the White House? And do you still have goats?
We had an Irish goat (in California), as well as an Alpenzell, Saeenen and then Lucifer (gawd knows what he was, sort of a cross between the other three, big sucker, loved wrestling, smart, his horns were about 15" or so and he knew how to drop his head and bang back up and win the wrestling match).
Like the others we eventually had to give him to a friend with a ranch outside of Placerville. When Lucifer was let loose in the field, he and the pony our friend had became instant friends, frolicking around.
Border collies are smart (my last dog Ci was border collie and Labrador, from north Wales), but border collies (and similar, such as a Wicklow collie) can be temperamental.
