OMFG. I'm sorry but I cannot stop laughing. She can't even talk. What the f does any of what she said mean?
Talk about a "blizzard of words" as Charles (no, "CHARLIE") Gibson put it.
No wonder they're trying to postpone her debate.

My favorite comment from the Palin/Couric article:
Hey, Sen. McCain, if you can't make it, let's have the VP debate Friday
in Mississippi. Palin is ready to be a heartbeat away, right? Let's see her stuff!

Yes it's total bullsh'it!
McCain and Palin are applying for the highest office jobs in the United States. When you apply for a job such as that one must qualified!
The prerequisite qualifications require one must face the job interviewer, the people of United States.
McCain and Palin are failing these prerequisites.
Step up to the plate you two!
No ..... they run away. No good, next candidate please come into the interview room.

Whew! I'm glad they are getting all hands on deck to save the nation!
Fattrad, you need to miss the Facelift and get to DC ASAP to help McSame and Palin with some emergency economic fixes.
No time to waste!
EDIT - just in case anyone thinks i might be serious, i wrote the above with EXTREME sarcasm... i've never met fatty, but the other two on economic policy are like sending a couple barrels of gasoline to help put out a forest fire

McCain's move to scuttle the debates is pure desperation. His handlers know he can't speak to the economic crisis at all. If he debates Obama, he's finished. He is CLUELESS on economic matters.

If McCain is CLUELESS on economic matters, then why does he want to delay the debates and go to Washington to "fix" the economic matters?

She sounds like me when I am on complete bullshit mode and I'm trying to say something--anything and I don't know what I'm saying.
That was so painful to watch.
No wonder McCain decided to pull a hail Mary today!

Werner, because (some would say) he's only doing it to 'appear' to care and appear presidential.
Or, he thinks he can help.
Dirtbag, "She sounds like me when I am on complete bullshit mode and I'm trying to say something--anything and I don't know what I'm saying."
uhhh.....I'd retract that, dude.

Bluering, folks are going to have slip of the tongues. Biden's not stupid, he knows there were no TVs then. And at least Biden hasn't been hiding from interviews.
Did you watch the Palin video?
Obviously, I'm not a Palin fan but it was painful to watch. I was cringing the entire time.
See my post above about making up BS. She didn't have anything to say about much of anything. She's totally unprepared for the enormous task that she might be chosen to undertake. Call me an elitist, but I believe you really should know a few things about policy stuff before becoming Pres or VP.

Nah, I'll fess up. There has been the occasional job interview or something or other when I'm expected to give an answer and I have nothing to say, so I stumble for bullshit to fill the silence. I think most of us have been there at one point or another.

Werner- It's a ploy to look presidential. The reality is that the Senate isn't going to be doing a damn thing on Friday night other than making some popcorn and watching the debates. Republicans are running in 100 different directions though, and McCain is the ipso facto leader of the Republicans so they need him to ride in and tell them what to do (republicans are lost without marching orders and talking points).
Obama is right though, if he can't do both these things at the same time he isn't ready for the office.

Oh that was sooooo funny! Thanks for posting. Definately, a Spoiler, but I think now I'll stay up to watch the whole show tonight.
Classic.
LOL
David Letterman nails McShame but good. Good question, will he ever come back on to the show again? Dave, I wouldn't worry about it.

Barak Hussein Obama Jr. will be at the meeting on Thursday.
If there's no agreement the markets will tank on Friday.
If Barak Hussein Obama Jr. shows up without McCain on Friday night he will look like the Chicago opportunist that he is.
The grownups will go to work.
The kid will go to the party.
It is however true that Barak Hussein Obama Jr's presence isn't required in Washington. He's spent his entire senate tenure, (as brief as it is) running for Prez.
He has no chops in DC and can have no influence on this real debate.

So TGT, what's up with your repeated reference to "Hussein"?
1.Do you like his middle name?
2.Or are you trying to stir up a fear of Muslims (which Obama isn't, btw) and play some kind of race-baiting ploy?
My money's on #2.

yes, the misspelling of Senator Barack Obama's first name up there is telling as well, isn't it?

TGT, the truth is McCain isn't going to be able to "solve" this crisis with his economic genius...you're f*cking crazy if you think his presence makes any difference at all...like anything will be going on Friday night anyway!
He want's to postpone debates until this economic crisis is "solved"...does that mean he doesn't want to debate at all before the elections? Sorry, but a front porch campaign isn't going to cut it in this day and age. He will only look older and more frail by backing out of speaking engagements and debates (what a pussy!).
Old man McCain is tired and truly pathetic - and Palin is an embarassment to everyone who listens to her speak. The two are, no kidding, the biggest joke in election history. Bar none. They're losing ground every day and that should come as no surprise, with the BS strategy and chickenhearted tactics they've used this fall.
McCain has not a shred of dignity or integrity - what a sorry excuse for a candidate.
