I just did the deal on subletting my place while I am away. No supermodel this time, but three nice ladies from Brazil who are thrilled for the place. Their niece did the deal and said they had set something up with a hostel while back in Brazil and got ripped off of their money. They got here and no hostel, apparently!
Paid in cash - this makes the difference between "ohhhh, I had better be careful or I'll be walking home from the airport" to.... "No worries, Be happy."

Relax Lynne,
Remember that if somehow you forgot something... IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL... You are not going to space or a deserted island. There are plenty of stores there to buy what ever it is and... There will be people there happy to give you a hand.
All you REALLY DO NEED FOR THIS TRIP IS YOURSELF. (Oh... But do not forget your wallet.)
Now get your head out of planning/"over thinking" and just throw the stuff into the car.
