Positive Bump for a fun time. Might you be the Warbler that Captn. Chaos speaks highly of?

Oops! Mr. Vawter beat me to it. Thank you, Sir!

Some sports are cool, you can talk to the heavyweights without too much hassle.

Like billiards. The best players in the world will gladly pass the time for a couple of bucks a rack if you pay for the table.

Try talking to Tiger Woods sometime. You need to get through a wall of protection.

Climbing is kind of like billiards, the big names are, for the most part, unknown to the rest of the world.
So it is neat when you can see these guys in person.
Maybe meet them after the event.
Or talk to them at the gas station in Bishop.
Is that cool, or what?

Is there a phone contact to RSVP? We'd like to attend, but can't get through on the web link. Cheers, Michael

Yoooo the Warbler at the precipice of America, and colleagues on same the cliff....

For perspective, being a wildlife biology BS degree holder having primarily studied raptors, I permanently shut down the US Army's favorite rock climbing training site in Alaska because of the active eagle nest on it, much to the rage of the Army, and voluntarily curtailed the Alaskan Alpine Club climbing class on our best local rock during nesting season for a scarce "upland nesting" falcon, nesting there, much to the anger of the University of Alaska environmentalists whose rival climbing club wanted that rock for their convenient classes to cling to their claim to represent climbers, etceteras.

But the government use of the raptor excuse, identical to the existence of weapons of mass destruction, the communist domino theory, guns cause crime, people love the wilderness to death, drugs are evil, and all the other fabricated rhetorical illusions always extend beyond logic, to create contradictions, the source of power, by design of power.

The moment a contradiction is created, it dooms its claimed goal, and you can learn the KNOWLEDGE of how to assist its inherent process to more quickly destroy its claimed goal at profound grief to its advocate.

Do none of what you suggested. They are designed to defeat you.

NEVER use legal counsel. Fools are represented by lawyers. A government licensed lawyer is an inferior law instrument placing you under the jurisdiction of inferior laws, an endless maze of contradicting laws leaving you under the raw personal power of an equity court judge (most often defending the executive branch that promotes judges) with the power of a king to decide which contradicted law to apply to you at his whim and maximum profit of lawyers. The lucrative US lawyer ruse is identical to the bureaucracy budget excuse ruse, relying on ignorant people who ask no questions.

With a tape recorder recording in your pocket, ask a lawyer if he or she represents the law, or legal opinion. Ask if you are required to obey the law or legal opinion. Ask if the lawyer is indemnified for telling you the wrong law that damages you, because he or she is by government license only telling you legal opinion, leaving you bare to the actual law. Then enjoy your laughter listening to the lawyer's rhetorical tap dancing, often.

Now therefore I would tell you the lawful, peaceful, logical, harmless, fun, inexpensive, easy paperwork process to promptly eliminate the climbing closures of your choice, or for the whole State or nation, HOWEVER, read carefully....

I learned the extent of the comedy of the humans by repeatedly and repeatedly and repeatedly telling people how to solve those and many other types of problems, openly verifiable line-item process, at cost of my time without pay (why I am poor). And the reaction was the grand array of excuses to not do so, identical to the government excuses to deny people's rights.

The first arrays of excuses were created by the lies and intimidation by lawyers, bureaucrats, larger organization leaders and staff, and such power-damaged minds whose power and financial income cannot exist in the face of logic or reasoning they must attack with threats. Humans are laughable cowards, especially the leaders claiming the most courage when they are surrounded by ignorant organization followers.

The rest of the excuses were based on the "you can't do that" concept drummed into young people since the invention of young people. I thought that climbers learned they could do what other people believed they could not do, but then learned they only learned how to climb.

And the controlling concept is the human inability to successfully give or get something for nothing or more for less. Read that again. The concept is why all governments fail.

So when the scant few actual climbers from the edge of America or the climbing organizations asked how to regain their rights denied by the power-based process their climbing organization leaders and government bureaucrats use to deny those rights, I gave them all the knowledge for nothing, and they therefore recognized no value in it because they did not know how to ask the resulting effective questions to add the value of their priceless thinking process.

When I routinely offer parts of the knowledge, such as herein, other threads and many websites, my benefit is the knowledge of the human reaction. I enjoy the comedy and routinely laugh myself to tears.

The knowledge you seek can be found at AlaskanAlpineClub.org, Think.ws and other sites, FREE. IT IS VERIFIABLE AGAINST ANY QUESTIONS ANY HUMAN CAN ASK. It cost me much time and money to present it, free to the public. But it is not efficiently organized for your specific goal among countless.

Lawyers and tax paid mediation companies (duplicate court judges) charge a lot of money for the specifically arranged rhetorical ruses they offer, getting rich by fooling fools into believing the knowledge because they paid money, not the value of effective questions, such as the questions of the controlling contradictions of lawyers and mediation companies. Those contradictions are retained and applied to later induce the perceived need to pay for perpetually more legal and mediation process, by design.

Now therefore your practical choices are to learn the knowledge of how to easily defeat anti-climbing bureaucratic processes, on your own, with the online info, by asking and answering many questions, or kowtow to whatever you are told by idiots with titles, leaving your brain as useless to you and society as government dolts and climbing organization leaders have rendered theirs and their offspring, or for fun, starting a new climber organization of actual climbers to face all the US climber organizations, especially the Access Fund and AmerAC, with their unmitigated failure, their bilking US climbers and climbing equipment companies by rhetorical ruses, progressively surrendering climber rights to insatiably power-addicted government idiots, and defining US climbers as the most gullible groveling outdoor recreation group in the world.

If you do the later work, to an extent that it is the most noticed US climber organization, I will then assist to the extent of my available time, convey the specifically arranged process to promptly defeat all anti-climber restrictions in the US, yet again, you will have fun, and you will learn knowledge vastly more valuable than all of society offers.

May you learn the most knowledge of the most concepts, most efficiently, and have fun doing that.

Thanks Warbler, appreciate the info. I'm giving up a dinner at The Hindquarter to attend...it's that important! Besides, it'll be the first meet to represent our Club Arrampicata Napoli in SD. Ciao, Michael

Really enjoyed the event. Beautiful evening, pretty good turnout and for the price of two tickets for a total of $5.00 I won one of the best prizes of the evening...an LG/enV phone!

Randy Leavitt showed slides of the best places in SD County to climb. Folks you are missing out. There's a bunch of new stuff here that is great and with decent approaches. Also showed new project he's been working on at the CA-NV border. Very cool.

Chris Sharma gave us video clips and slides of some incredible stuff! Love how he "talks" while climbing...grunts, groans, screams...yeah go for it...and does he.

I should have taken pics, I hope they post some on the ST. My first time there and being the newbie didn't want to get in everyones face with la camera. Met some nice people. I encourage all you folks to support your local access groups.

Finally, The Micah Retz Foundation is hosting a night at the Comedy Store in La Jolla, CA on July 10. Doors open at 7pm ..show starts at 8pm. Need to be 21, $8 tickets and 2 drink minimum along with raffle and silent auction. RSVP 858-454-9176

Micah, a local adventurist, rock climber and single father to three darling little daughters injured himself while diving at Cedar Creek Falls. Is considered a quadriplegic, but there is hope as he has some feeling and movement in arms and legs.

Show up for a great time...all proceeds help support Micah and his children.
