Happie, Teddy is a strange looking 'wunderhound', that's for sure. Hella cute, just different. Someday it'd be cool to see him in person.

Q: What do you call an agnostic, dyslexic insomniac?

Happie, Teddy's cute, just different looking, that's all. Maybe it's that curly hair, I dunno.

Look at all these wonderful doggies!!!

Bluering - Don't worry, I was teasing you. Teddy gets comments every single time we're outside. Most people say he looks like a lamb, or a miniature sheep. If his hair's longer, they say he looks like a polar bear. But at least once a week, someone passing by remarks something like "he looks unreal," or "he looks like a cartoon dog" or something like that.

All I know is that I walk dogs for a living, and a lot of people will smile at a dog, stop to pet them or get kisses and what
not, but Teddy gets easily a dozen comments on a walk. I don't know what it is about him. One time, someone stopped dead, turned to their partner, and adamantly insisted Teddy had winked at her.

On another note - As I said, I am a dog walker. One of my clients are these two Havanese:
Pepper

Mocha

Mocha gets put in his crate once the walk is done, because his people aren't home and he's still a puppy. Too much for him to get into left to his own devises.

So, the other day, he doesn't want to go into that crate. He really doesn't. But, he must and in he goes. Pepper grabs a toy and trots away into another room. Mocha seems as if he's peeved, like maybe it was one of his fave toys....

As I leave the apartment, I hear Pepper's name called out. "PEP per!"

It surprised me, because I thought the family was gone.

I think pepper must have done something naughty and gotten scolded but then - It happens again.

I recognize the voice....IT'S MOCHA!!!! I am NOT lying. He did it again, and of course, this time I'm really listening and it is two seperate, yet distinctive barks, very closely spaced. "REAH Rher! RHEAH Rher!"

It was so bizare! he did it a few more times, and I was just floored. The barks were not the type of bark sound he normally makes, which is more of a baying "oooowww"

Anyone else have "Talking dog/cat stories? I actually have two more. One from Teddy, and another of Pico, who was my kitty/

Maybe Teddy DID wink at that lady.

These guys are smarter than we realize.
