Kind of fractured.

"Angst" is a noun, making the first phrase a non-phrase.

But heck, maybe the market likes it anyway.

If you can throw a chalk bag to the top of the climb, then it is a "send".
If you can't, then it is an "ascent".

At least to me, anyways.

I'd guess it doesn't have much to do with this Sam Cooke song: http://www.lyricsdownload.com/sam-cooke-you-send-me-lyrics.html

CafePress is actually really good. They have a 100% satisfaction policy, so if for whatever reason you don't like the product(even wrong size), they will refund/replace. That's pretty good since the stuff is print on demand, and obviously they can't resell anything.

I did have some printing problems on some items of mine(I try to get samples of most of my designs, to be sure they look right), and they replaced and sent one-day delivery with no questions asked. Didn't have to send back to defective ones, either.

And so.....don't forget to check out my t-shirt shop if you all have some time. It's at http://www.cafepress.com/climbaddict

....I made the Warren Harding/Hangdogger into a t-shirt too. I still need to add other colors and put on the different shirts, so check back later tonight, but at least you can get a laugh. The page is here:

I'm not as generous as the angst less t-shirt guy, unfortunately.... For MisterE, if he wants a shirt, he can choose whichever style he wants and I'll set it up so he can order it at the cost(though I am pretty sure cafepress automatically adds $1.00 no matter what).

Anyone else - you're on your own. My markup is not big; about 20%.

'Hangdogging' means to use aid climbing techniques in order to practice 'free moves' so that you can do a "free ascent" at a later date.

All hangdoggers are aid climbers, but not all aid climbers are hangdoggers.

Harding was definitely not a hangdogger.

When Nat and the bros and I climbed Devil's Tower
summer before last it was an scent and not a send, at least for half of us. No less fun, or significant for that, in our case, though!

-That's what I thought graham, though I was gonna use some euphemism like 'Motorcycle guy.'

no no no
Ascent: topping out in style on a mountaineering route
Send: topping out in style on a rock route

falling up the route is neither an ascent or a send.
