I woke up in a very snarly mood, having had a nightmare in which I was about to fire a shotgun into a crowd at a convocation of landlords. I am simply using the Taco as an outlet for my fear and loathing, and I am trying to be helpful to the community, whereas it seems most in this here "conversation" are way more prejudiced than the Southern Man of your Canadian whitebread boy, Mr. Young, who likely learned a valuable lesson from L. Skinner, RIP.

You might take a look at Nature Noir, which is a pretty funny memoir from a ranger who dealt with a lot of crazy stuff in Auburn State Recreation Area. It might give you some ideas on how to structure a memoir.
For Movies/TV, no one is really going to care whether things actually happened. Don't say, "But that's exactly how it happened!" No one will care. They want a good story.
If you are trying to pitch a TV show, you need to be pitching an inherently interesting concept. You need to decide if you've got an interesting concept or just some funny stories.
You'll want to figure out how to present the concept in terms of shows that are/were hits. "It's Parks & Rec with orange overalls!" "It's Reno 911 with shovels instead of guns!" "It's Nip & Tuck with dead wildlife!" Extra points for a melding of two hit show ideas.
The main trick will be getting a well-fleshed-out concept to someone who can get it to someone who could do something with it. The odds aren't good.
