The scouts just changed to allow gay boys but not adult leaders. As I was reading about this I was surprised to learn agnostics and atheists are not allowed. I am an assistant scout master and this was the first I heard of it. If I was asked on my intake form I would have said what I believed. I'm an agnostic atheist (don't believe in a personal god, bit don't claim it's impossible) I don't think I'll make a stink about it because scouts is for my son, but I was pretty shocked to read this and if they really asked me I would tell them what I believe and I guess they could kick me out.
We are in a troop from a Mormon church and they are the nicest people and have never prostelitized to me. It's weird the Mormons are less pushy about religion than the scouts.
Most of the values of scouts are great. Most leaders and troops are great. From what I've seen. More kids should experience scouts or something like it. The few negatives don't outweigh all the good ones.
What's really sad is these fatties didn't come clean and apologize. They are trying to justify what they did by saying it was loose. That thought might have gone through their heads before they did it but I retrospect they have to admit how dumb it was.

To get back to the OP: What a gang of useless FAT FU*&KS! Scout "leaders"? Seriously? I fear to tread where they are leading. We've all trundled, I supposed, but there's no way I'd tip over one of those cool boulders in a park DEVOTED TO THOSE COOL BOULDERS! It would be like going to Yellowstone with an AK47 and opening up on one of wolves--with the difference being that a dead wolf, however sad, could be replaced with the next litter.
