I have learned my prior existence lacked Russ Rants.
My only problem now is not knowing when my next fix will be.

I knew that a girl would get a doubled butt cheek and extra cellulite in the compressed conformation by the time I was, like, 13. I guess I had better access to the equipment to run the experiment than most of the people here. I can't say the taco has informed my opinion of what was sexy much.
I make and reconnect with friends and get inspired more than I get tech tips these days.
This was an insight into or reflection of something that I already knew to be true and am missing right now that was posted here today:
When I finally surrendered to the granite bench, the parched throat and the whole shimmering clusterf*#k, I’d synch up with my life and for the moment experience freedom while being literally tied to a stake.
(Quote from R&I interview w/ John Long.)
It's been a tough couple of weeks, and this one fueled my fantasy of being in my happy place.

I broke my forum cherry here on the taco. I learned that..
Its easy to get your panties in a twist online
lots of people wear panties
I wear pink panties, though I prefer purple
Even though people get their panties in a twist a lot, they can still be nice people
there are some serious badasses out there. Okay.. I already knew that
What I didn't know is that they get their panties in a twist just like the rest of us and can still be nice people
what I just learned
I have a panties fixation.. hahaha..
Cheers everyone. The taco is full of some seriously funny people.
AND..
while some people need more cowbell. We need more Fish rants. Okay Okay.. and more cowbell

hey there say, all...
hmmm, you knowwwww, i would have thought that you all learned all this, uh, 'certain stuff', BEFORE you ever FOUND the ol' taco.... ;)
okay, things i have learned from the taco:
the friday night posting while drunk thread, seems to overflow
into saturday, on through to thursday, and back to friday...
at times.. ;)
and--
there are fabulous photographers!!! here...
all kinds of climbers, of various levels, and they all mix and well,
very well: mainly, when climbing, :)
more gals climb, than i EVER knew... :)
there is such a thing as 'nature sushi fest'... :)
and--there IS such a thing as: facelift for yosemite! :)
climbing history ABOUNDS here... :)
so do bear 46 stories... :)
and 'nose' records... :O
so do some very WILD stories--which fall under history, of course, ;)
(even new stories WILL be history, 'once around the campfire'... :)
and: there is NO place like the taco...
nor, is there anything LIKE you climbers, gathered anywhere else...
this is a 'gateway' to many parts of the world that i'd never
have heard of OTHERWISE, :)
and--i've STILL got a lot to learn, :)
AND, lastly:
chris so patient, tolerant, and kind, and open to
'the versitilities of humans' in a way that helps you
all learn-and-grow, in the midst of what other forums would
just NOT understand... :)

I've learned that, aside from the political stuff and some name calling, Supertopians are a pretty decent bunch. The Ian Gill fund continues to grow at about $100 a day with people buying expensive mommento biners and gear they probably don't need. Thanks!

I'm definitely going to die
People are pretty cool for the most part
Asking for advice is always funny at first (got to have thick skin) and then useful in the long run
If it's your first post we will probably (see:definitely) give you some sh#t
There are a lot of strong climbers on here
There are a little of people who don't climb on here
I basically learned how to big wall climb from this site (see point #1) and I appreciate any and all advice!
Oh yeah and I like booty

Having access to those who climbed before me is almost as rich an experience as climbing itself (based on the presence of posters like Guido, jstan, Peter Haan, BBA, rgold, DR, Tom Higgins, Pat Ament, Jogill and so many others).

If you don't climb a certain type of climb, on real rock you're not a climber.
If you don't use a certain type of protection, you're not a climber.
There are a lot of good people out there willing to share a lot of time, expertise, knowledge and love.
A lot of us are really lonely.
An awful lot of places look just like Lembert Dome.
If things ever really got bad, this community would be there for anyone who needed it.
We still don't know if the Stones ever really did country...

The best of us make mistakes.
Like taking a picture of Everest that is off by about 700 miles. Course that was only 2 minutes and 20 seconds early. Missed it by a smidge.

I learned that whatever the question is, the people of Supertopo will have the answer.
Often half the people disagree with the answer, and vehemently express what the RIGHT answer is. But nonetheless, the question is answered and/or the problem solved.
I also learned that if I had a multimeter, I would somehow know the answer without having to ask.
