Porking the corpse has got to be bullshit - fun to flame on it for a moment, but really now. No sane person would ever admit to having "stiff longings," let along go through with the grisly act.

The whole cult of right wing politicos here, with all their fatuous "traditional values," are by the vast majority aging, straight, white, protestant males who want all others to fall in line behind them. The farther the parade marches past them the more they yell and scream but the parade will never march backwards. Same thing in those A-rab countries. If the women went on general strike and simply refused to go along a lot of them would probably be murdered in the processes but eventually, probably in short order, really, the whole Mullah house of cards would fall.
Expect a sea change over there in no time. The Internet let the dogs out and there's really no reversing course. Mark my word: Those Muslim conservatives might get power but they'll never hold it because the world knows what freedom looks like.

...not that there's anything wrong with it. When I think back to the 50's -60's in the US, there was some similar kinds of things going on. Other lands...other customs.
An Israeli was telling me (laughing his ass off while describing it) that one of the more popular entertainment choices for army guys stationed on the Golan is watching the Arabs screw goats through the high powered binocs.

I had heard that from a friend working for an NGO in Iraq. She said It was common with single men and teenage boys and I called bullshit on her. Thats the first time I have heard anyone else mention that.
