Long, with soundcheck and an amusing interview at the start. Show starts at about 9 minute mark.

Lenny Breau was phenomenal, he could not figure out when he was a kid how the old timers played so he learned to play backwards with the strings and his fingers. Sad that drugs played a part in his death, too young.
As another older generation Charlie Christen died at 25, He was one of the first great electric guitarist in jazz.

Steve Morse, yeah! saw him at the Rainbow with Jerry Peek on bass and Rod Morgenstein on drums, killer show.
Eric Johnson, saw him at a small venue in Boulder (can't remember the name) great show!
I'm not sure, but I don't think anyone has mentioned Al DiMeola, probably my favorite! (he does killer harmonics on this one)

That's Lenny White on the drums.

Ok not completely instrumental but very few lyrics, and nobody milks each note for more feeling than Gilmour, here's a tribute to the Shining thread...

And since I'm on the Pink Floyd train, this gem, easily my favorite live performance of all time in a surreal setting. If I had to pick only one song to hear for the rest of my life it would be this 24 minute masterpiece.

Edit: I'm breaking my own rules, but less is more with the lyrics in Floyd's music, and the guitar is absolutely divine

lostinshanghai - I'm stumped. I can think of plenty of folks who played Teles, but not with a Bigsby...
Lots of good videos posted so far. Jeff Beck is the King of this genre of music IMO.
My favorite guitarists have a unique tone and playing style. Steve Kimock has an incredible clean tone (best to see him live), and Eric Johnson's tone really shines out on a lot of his material (the guy only uses a certain type of battery for his pedals - super OCD about his tone).
One of my favorite Eric Johnson songs:

Jeff Beck's crazy tone:

Trey Anastasio from Phish has a killer tone too... Robben Ford as well. And Johnny Hiland too for that matter.

Man, those were some lucky folks in the audience that evening. Here, Jimi really does make his guitar speak. Listen at about 6:00 ....

Ok seems some people are in the right direction: names wrong but it will be revealed.
1953 Fender Telecaster Butterscotch blonde with a bigsby.
Fender eventually made there own with "F" where Bigsby logo was so this is a rare one.
As for the Bigsby: Keith Richards, Paul McCartney , Paul McCartney, Neil Young used them just to name a few, put them on Les Paul’s, Gibson’s, Epiphone’s ; B3, B5 and B7 were popular. Jeff Beck used a gold B3 on a black Gretsch Duo-Jet.
But there is still something different on this telecaster, that makes it even priceless: a couple of more try’s then will tell.
So almost there.
