'K kids,
I narrowly caught an ID of one of the coolest 10D cracks anywhere in outer space. That black Granite was my Q.
Nice post T2!
Meal Time:
Another shot, same spot as a famous climber was found in B&W many more years back; name both?
(some of what you are seeing here is 10d too!)

Now that's history going over my head-
But I think I catch yer Drift Jay.
So if I was hip to you allusion, you just named the route right, as well as the Golden Era Protagonist?
No Golsen, not Pancake:I need to check, but there's a similar B&W shot of Pratt in the same spot on *ding* the Nose.
And I think Jay beat ya with his cryptic but accurate historical reference...
I'm pretty sure this is right off the belay at camp 6...
That's how I rememmber the Pratt parallel picture anyhow.

Ya think Werner?
I know it looks like the edge of the Great Roof up high, but I'm sticking with my camp 6 thing, wait, or maybe above 4..
OK:
I see a 10d layback noted a bit above the swing off the boot.
I think you are about right. (sheesh and it's my lead and my pic...)
I posted up the other Windfall pics on the Mike & Mari Thread...

I was just commenting on the orange jumpsuit.
I've seen that 'other' photo though, Yosemite climber? Vert world? I'm going back to the ranch tomorrow and will check the arc hieves.

It's a cool shot Jay, I think Pratt is in Khroenoefefers's(sp), layin' it back free, right at the same spot.
Not sure which book...
um, the Orange Jumpsuit:
I have some slides to explain...
Film at 11.

Roy, your nice flake photo on the Nose is the pitch right after the King Swing, as Werner said. Here's a photo of my partner Johan a little higher on the same pitch last June:

Golsen's spire is Monkey Face, Smith Rock.
Jaybro's "Pins" I get all mixed up on my rack, so I'm not sure how to "peg" that spire in Needles...
Clint: your shot clearly reveals the Great Roof and your climber is about half a pitch further up...
T2: hmm, those pockets in the face right of the crack...
Can't get it just yet, but once again, it looks Great!
Butress of Cracks, Suicide CA?
Ying-Yang, Valley?
-hmm.

Some more clues on the Sandstone Corner:
It's in Indian Creek,
It's had a couple names.
It's Multi Pitch, Tops Out.
The big corner has a "cheater" anchor at 2/3 height...
Another angle:
