happy now. Just found out that son, son in law and their families are camping in Doug Nidevers turf for the next few days. After I check in at Tioga Pass Resort I hope to join them.
It will be great for all to meet each other and enjoy getting to know Doug's beautiful neighborhood. Crazy how you never know what the next day will hold for adventure. This will be fun. Ciao and Cheers, lynnie
Edit: Gomez, looking forward to seeing you and Kelly. :D

Mungeclimber, looks like she has a Ula pack. Fairly new, really super special ultra lightweight...
Nope, if you're talking about the red/black pack: It's an ancient dinosaur (by today's standards) North Face Thin Air.
If ya don't mind hanging out with a dinosaur, drop me a PM --
Let's go climbing

Jaybro, way more than good. Never been in the Eastern Sierra for the flowers which are way late and have just come out. Killer!
Ricky A, will mail you in the next few days. Look forward to seeing you guys here soon. Book is still rolling.
Ron, for sure pie and climbing. Looking forward to it......can't wait. I was able to get a campsite for our mutual friends. :D
Cragman, it's been great to see you and get to meet your super great family. I hope climbing with the knuckleheads is in my near future. Things are finally calming down here and more free time opening up.
Can only load pictures at the library here in Lee Vining and they are only open for a short time each day. Will send more of TPR trip report @Friday.
Love and Ciao to all ....lynnie

Yeah....a post from Lynnie...I am so glad to hear you are doing well. Ferretlegger and I are off to Alaska via north Vancouver Island (family reunion) starting Aug. 6. We'll be back this way mid Sept. in time for Facelift. Alas, we aren't sailing as we missed that window with all the boat work (we are still in the boat yard...2 months now). Road trip extraordinare.
If I don't see you before Facelift...then Facelift it will be!

You don't take credit cards? No ATM, no newspapers???? But after a few days they are chill and wondering why they are going back to the chaos. It's amazing what clean air and simple living can create and rekindle in a person's heart, mind and soul.
