I think Spider and Watusi said it best. Agree there is a lot of Disrespectful and Negative stuff on this forum now and then but I dont think it is Cmacs problem. It is up to us to be responsable for what is posted. It is always interesting to see just how many and who posts on such threads. I think the solution is pure and simple but alot of people dont seem to get it.

Adding in on the above thoughts.
last night I lost my cool and went ballistic. That's not the usual me. I should have taken the higher road and ignored the offending posts. I didn't. Mea culpa.
We have a community here, filled with the cutting edge crews of the past, recent past, present and possibly the future. In addition to the major leaguers, we have a bunch of Triple A players as well as some, like me, who are still in Little League. The common denominator is that we all love the silly pastime that is the reason this site exists.
Let’s keep our eyes on the ball and get away from flinging crap at each other.

It cracks me up how fast the count goes up on posts like this. What really motivates people to post versus just listen? It isn't climbing trip reports or climbing anything usually. Those threads get responded to very ssslllloooowwwwlllly. Call someone an ass and BOOM, mega-thread.
