From the pre-bear box era in Yosemite.

This little f*#k, or one of his buddies, attacked my food bag after 40+ successful days of hanging it in a tree.

Rocky and Bullwinkle are both in my backyard. We have two moose that are regular visitors, a mom and baby. My partner, Jerry, named them Roast and Stew.

This hummer was crazy wild trying to keep all others away from each of the six feeders we had stationed on our front porch.

The Wolf: Is there a story about the bear on the bridge?

And for wildlife: Baby hummingbirds. We were able to find three nests in our trees last summer. First we ever located here.

shrug: Mean looking wasps!

The wolf: It took me a second to spot the bear doing the arch hand traverse. Good eye!

Reddirt,
As someone who assisted on a long term mountain goat research
project I gotta tell you that goat isn't happy with your
proximity; body language ya know. Just cause they let you
get that close doesn't mean they're digging it as much as
you are. We all need our 'space'!

Just a respectful request for my furry friends - ;-)

ps
Rangers in Olympic NP and Glacier might not be so 'respectful'.

It's really ok Reilly: no goat molestation occurred. All pictures taken were on the actual trail.

I'm actually en route to Goat Pass - thus named presumably for their prolificness in that area.
