Trump's words in the recording from 2005 are abhorrent and completely indefensible.

That being said, they were spoken by a man who never considered running for public office....11 years ago. He has apologized for them, and I believe he is completely ashamed of them.

All of us have said things we'd rather have not said....especially here on this site. Trump's wife considers his comments a travesty as well......but has forgiven him. I can too.

I would rather tolerate his past shameful words, than a career politician who has a lifetime of failure to her name, and has a long list of illegal activities including treason.....all of which is being hidden by the current administration.

But none of you will admit to that....even though the evidence is blatantly obvious.

So flame one....call me all your usual names. It matters not.

Esco and his trolling ilk need to be held accountable via banning for enabling ST climbers who think that supporting Trump is acceptable. I have no beef with folks with opposing ideologies or not being keen on people running for office that they disagree with; that's democracy. However, supporting Trump is so manifestly un democratic and unpatriotic it boggles the mind.

As a builder (now retired), I am inherently a fixer of things. That's what builders do.....faced with a problem, we figure out a way to overcome it in a practical, equitable way. And we do that to the point of not only eliminating the problem for ourselves, but for our client or ANYONE else.

Whenever I met with a potential client, I always told them straight up.....I am NOT going to be the cheapest guy out there, because I will do it better than anyone else, faster than anyone else, and that I guaranteed my work 100% to the clients satisfaction. I actually wrote that in every contract....that I would only be satisfied when they were 100% satisfied.

I try to live my life that way in every other aspect....that I will always give it my best, and that my best will be better than most.

This level of confidence in myself and my abilities (along with a great deal of good luck and blessing) led to a very successful business. That confidence has had many here on this site label me as "arrogant". That is simply not true. What IS true is this.....I approach things in life from the view of a pragmatist. I see a problem......I come up with the most equitable solution.....and I fix it. I don't do well with people who take a problem and try to "fix" it by making it harder than it is in the first place. Especially people who "fix" a problem by creating a new one for others.

This last point is the disease that has inflicted the Republican and Democratic parties for all time....and why they never get anything done....or simply solve one problem only to create a new one. I think we can ALL agree that this status quo is disgusting, and we are all SICK of it.

We can likely also ALL agree that Donald Trump is a buffoon. He says things almost on a daily basis that really make me cringe. I don't care for his speaking style, his name calling, his foul language, or his insensitive nature.

But what I DO like about him is this.......he is neither Republican nor Democrat in his approach to the problems facing our nation. He is.....a pragmatist. From our stagnant economy, to our trade deficits, to our illegal immigration problems, to the corruption in government, to violence in our neighborhoods, and terror around the world.......he does not see these as Republican or Democrat problems. He sees them as things that need fixing, and not be appeasing one group of people or the other.

We have watched our entire lives as Republican and Democratic ideologues have brought steady, consistent decline to our nation.....all because their worthless ideas have only created more problems.

A pragmatist knows that it takes an extreme amount of confidence and boldness to go against the status quo, and actually SOLVE a problem. Too many politicians take the attitude that the problem will never be totally solved.....until they get elected again. Such utter bullshit that we have been force fed forever!

Too many politicians have NEVER taken any risk. They are unwilling to be bold, as they do not want to appear as arrogant.

Like myself at times, Donald Trump comes across as arrogant. I simply don't see it that way.....he is a successful businessman who has been bold enough to take RISK.....make some mistakes....eat some crow.....and then FIND a way to FIX the problem.

Finally, we have someone who is NOT beholding to high priced donors seeking favors, or special interest groups currying a free pass. We have someone who, like us all, sees a problem and wants it fixed once and for ALL.

Donald Trump is a pragmatic fixer of things. And that is precisely why he will get my vote.
