Went to lunch and a movie today.
It's so much fun dating on the bus...eating at Joe on the Go...finding the movie is playing at the mall theater n not downtown after you've ridden the bus there...my stupid mistake, not noticing the OBVIOUS but remembering there is a showing at 2:00 as well as at 1:00, so WHEW!
Once we got there, fine as frog hair. I even ran into an old colleague from B Dalton books, who's managed the theater for years. We had a nice catch-up in the lobby and then caught the bus home.
There was a trailer for a new film, Miss Sing Link, about the Sasquatch (named Susan).

So, I'm working on my ELONgate screenplay based loosely on a work-in-progress I've titled "All the CEO's Men."
I'll probably never finish either one.
If I do, I'll probably never "get a meeting" to "make a pitch."
If that happens, though, I promise to try to get them to hire some of you as riggers.
Or clowns. Or jugglers.

Speaking of old peeps, Mick Jagger had a medical procedure to replace an aortic valve in his heart.

Wishing a swift recovery. The TAVR sounds pretty cool.
It's been 3.5 yrs. roughly since one of my heart valves was repaired (Oct. '15).
The surgeons sealed up a small part of the connection of the blood vessel to my heart, as it leaked, causing problems.
The valve itself was not calcified like Mick's, so didn't get replaced.
Dear Doctor, I'm damaged.
Won't somebody stop this pain?
Have mercy on me.

On 2008 Jonny and I went to climb Pervertical Sanctuary (5.10B) on The Diamond of Long's Peak,
one of the nicest rock climbing sites in the United States.
A year later Jonny left us.
This is a little memorial from footage that has been in storage since then.
