Is it possible that these delusions are
caused by extreme sleep deprivation?

How well can he sleep at night, thinking
the evil aliens are coming for him?

GC,

I sleep pretty well actually. I have peace in my heart.

Anyone here on ST can have that to. It is for all of us. It is free from Jesus.

That is a wonderful benefit for returning back to GOD, and asking forgiveness through the grace and blood of Jesus Christ, and asking the Lord Jesus Christ back into my heart.

He protects all believers. We have power over Lucifer and his minions through the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ.

Read the accounts of abductions and what happened when they called on the name of Jesus. The abduction stopped. Those evil entities fled away. Those who turned to GOD's loving salvation and grace and asked Jesus Christ back into their lives, the abductions stopped altogether, never to return.

He even protects and will rescue non-believers who call out his name in moments of desperation when then have no one else to turn to.

Klimmer,

Need to take some ACH while eating or drinking.

http://www2.parc.com/istl/projects/ach/ach.html

Do not think you will like this one but you will need it: Don’t be scared you can do it. Yes it is one of those/them.

Go to https://www.cia.gov/index.html hit library you will see Center for the Study of Intelligence: You should see CSI publications hit that, now you will see Books and Monographs, hit that: Download 2010 PDF on “Thinking and Writing: Cognitive Science and Intelligence Analysis” and same page go to 1999 and download PDF “Psychology of Intelligence Analysis” read Chapter 8 summarizes or tells you the steps that you will be doing for ACH. Read Chapter 14 as well.

Let one of your 5th graders help you on figuring it out, better yet give them this as a class project.

No conspiracy on technologies for solving energy. EU has being doing it for years. There is a Dutch company has thousands and thousands of publications on what is and being done from private, academia and government institutions in helping customers advance science and health by providing world-class information and innovative tools that help them make critical decisions, enhance productivity and improve outcomes.
Subscription is high S$$$$ but allows you to buy one paper on a given subject for knowledge for $.

Klimmer repeats the age old LIE that "there are no atheists in foxholes"

The basis for this LIE is to have people believe that when atheists are
put in life and death struggles, well, they just turn to GOD anyway.

Really? NO

Atheists in Foxholes, in Cockpits, and on Ships

MAAF maintains a roster of Atheists in Foxholes, just in case there are any rumors that we don't exist. The next time you hear someone repeat that old myth, just send them here to see how atheists have served honorably in combat - always have, always will.

The list of Atheists in Foxholes is over 200, starting with the most-recently submitted.

Army Sergeant David Lindberg
Dates of service: 2001-2005
Decorations: Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB) Combat Medical Badge (CMB) and several other campaign and commendation awards and medals.
Tours of duty, with dates: OIF 1 March 2003 - April 2004
Specialty: Medic

I arrived at my atheism through skepticism and scientific inquiry. My atheism and anti-theism was reinforced by hearing the cries, in English and Arabic, for mercy or help from "god" when a person was hurt and or dying. The help never appeared to come. Seeing humans die brutally, slowly, or without Hollywood style drama is a life, or rather, death-affirming experience. My family and I and thousands of others have paid dearly. I continue to "fight" due to my 50% disability from PTSD.

Army Private First Class Andrew Lowe
Dates of service: Nov 2006 - current
Decorations: Army Service Ribbon, National Def Service Medal, Global war on Terrorism Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Op New Dawn Medal, and OIF Medal
Tours of duty, with dates: Qatar (Jul 07 - Oct 08), Iraq(Mar 10 - Mar 11)
Specialty: 15P aviation operation specialist
Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Mike Cundiff
Dates of service: May 1972-July 2002
Decorations: Defense Meritorious Service Medal; Air Force Meritorious Service Medal (3 awards); Air Force Commendation Medal (7 awards); Air Force Achievement Medal (4 awards); Outstanding Airman of the Year Ribbon
Specialty: Public Affairs

Additional comments: During the first 10 years of my military career I was indifferent to religion, practicing none. I later voluntarily became a Roman Catholic, and then later (again voluntarily) became a Unitarian Humanist. Throughout my 30-year active duty career I was never hassled about religion. Things have changed. In both military and civilian life the evangelical religious virus has infected everything. Freedom of religion and freedom from religion are equally important to a just society. I’m a member/supporter of the MAAF, the American Humanist Association, the Freedom From Religion Foundation, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and the Military Religious Freedom Foundation in an effort to help inoculate society from the evangelical virus. I look forward to the day when there’s no longer a need to support these organizations.

Grew up a Lutheran, went to Sunday School and Church through college. Started to become a real doubter though when I started watching Carl Sagan in COSMOS as a kid. Didn't really give it all much thought until I had my own children. I've always just kind of known that the many, varied stories of gods were just that, but it didn't bother me that others weren't able to see the same thing. Lately my lack of belief has become more important to me as I realize the kind of societal and cultural brain washing that my kids are exposed to. It is hard to explain to them why daddy does not believe that "God made us", "that's what everybody else says is true". Therefore, I am trying to learn as much as possible about the arguments for and against religion so I am ready to discuss it when they are old enough to ask real questions.

Air Force Tech Sergeant Sherry Burt
Dates of service: Nov 98-present
Specialty: Bandsman, USAF Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB

My career field is made up of musicians who are generally liberal-minded or at least fairly tolerant. Still, nearly everyone is Christian and many are outspoken church-goers. I freely express my views as a non-theist in hopes that folks will come to accept atheism/agnosticm. At the very least, I hope to avoid the usual asumptions about my beliefs. However, when I play a concert for an audience, the people in attendance nearly always assume Christian beliefs and shower me with "God Bless Yous" and whatnot. There is nothing I can do about this, and it is tolerable considering the general goodwill with which it is given. Still, it irks me somewhat, and I like to imagine a future where the "A" word is not feared and mistrusted.

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Paul Averi
Dates of service: November 2007- present
Decorations: Afghan campgain medal, NATO medal
Tours of duty, with dates: May-2009-November 2009
Specialty: Corpsman

Air Force Tech Sergeant Dale Coonfield
Dates of Service: 1992-current
Decorations: Joint Service Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal AF Overseas Ribbon
Tours of duty, with dates: Little Rock AFB AR 92-96, GITMO Cuba, Kwang Ju AB South Korea 97-98, Altus AFB Ok 98-2003, Al Jabar Kuwait, USSTRATCOM NE 03-05, Barksdale AFB LA 05-08, Osan AB South Korea 08-09, Barksdale AFB LA 09-Current
Specialty: Intel Analyst

I have found that for the most part my lack of religion is pretty much a non-issue. When prayer is led at functions I just look ahead and remain quiet. I have no problems with prayer at functions, I just don't participate. I don't look down on people who pray, it's what they do to feel good and who am I to say it's right or wrong. I am surprised at the amount of people in the Air Force who are unsure of religion and the existence of a higher power.

Navy Petty Officer Second Class Daniel Rumery

Decorations: Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon
Tour of Duty: Operation Iraqi Freedom-May, 2007 to June, 2008
Specialty: 52C-Utilities Equipment Repairer

WV Army National Guard Sergeant Gary Rice II
Dates of service:12/12/1995-Present
Decorations:CAB, ARCOM, AAM
Tours of duty, with dates: OIF2003-2004, 2009-present
Specialty: Military Police

There are 4 atheists in my unit and we are having an issue with our chaplain and command praying prior to everything, from meetings to movement. He and everyone else in the command just make us uncomfortable every time we do something.

Air Force Staff Sergeant Brandon Crilley
Dates of service:17 June, 2003
Tours of duty, with dates: MacDill AFB May 2004 to Present
Specialty: Communications and Navigation Systems engineer on KC-135 Stratotanker Aircraft

Every day I do hear the inanities that people put forth about our country and specifically our military being founded on Christian ideals. This is not only wrong, but specifically singles out everyone who is not "Christian" and sometimes can make us feel like we should not be a part of the defense of our own freedoms. In spite of this, I fight for my country simply for the fact that I can be a part of organizations like this one and support what I believe in (or not believe in).

Army Specialist Brandon Figueroa

interesting post, norton. keep it up and you'll convert me to atheism. or perhaps anti-theism, as you put it.

i do feel for klimmer. i don't know where he's at in life, but i think he's trying to reconcile a lot of basically traditional belief with disturbing things he's gotten onto recently, some of which i'll agree with him on, others where we'll be at variance. give him credit for sticking to his guns and maintaining some basic grace under fire, a lot more than you generally see on ST.

Yep, let's burn near infinite energy resources to go visit a faraway planet and doodle in their vegetation instead of just directly communicating with them.

I don't believe Linda. Common sense strongly dictates to the contrary. It's back to the idea that illegible doodling in vegetation is the preferred method of communicating when an advanced alien species wants to communicate with the inhabitants of faraway planets. Oh and of course it would be multiple alien races given the variety of circumstances and patterns. Maybe it's sort of an alien Esperanto. Right, so much better than just showing up and chatting; makes complete sense.

Linda is a more reliable and meticulous researcher than most of the posters here

some people here are mentally incapable of observing an unknown without assigning something familiar to it and placing it in an irrelevant context

same people never go up on a climb without detailed beta and pre-placed pro stamped with the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval

and some posters are paid from public funds to generate disinformation; perhaps a team masquerading as granite??

if granite really is an independent individual; that is a pretty amazing pool of disinformation resources being displayed...hard to believe it's just one curmudgeon coming up with all that trash

Edit: what is the common sense resolution between quantum mechanics and relativity; or the common sense response to string theory? btw the dynamics for orbital rendezvous turn out to be directly opposite to common sense. in fact a lot of realities in space flight violate common sense

and if you study the subject a little bit, it is easy to identify crop circles generated by pranksters vs those that are challenging to understand
