In the giving credit where credit is due department, today has thus far been a very good one for the administration. The capture of probably the No. 2 man in the Afghan Taliban, and his detention for interrogation, came as a result of excellent CIA and Pakistani cooperation. (He was captured in Karachi). Credit the administration's foreign and intelligence policies.
Also, the President is putting his money where his mouth has been on nuclear power. Since I have no problem pointing out when the Obama administration does somehting wrong, I thought I would share when I think they did at least two things right.

John, thank you for your fairness and non willingness to join in the
shrill and extreme blinding partisanship of the vast majority on the right
who post here frequently.
You legal background must be a very large influence in your being
more able to not just see one side of everything.
To you, I raise my cup of coffee!
All Hail John!

Good one John...on another note..do you agree with giving Miranda rights to the underwear bomber?
I for one get tried of the government bashing...this country was built with help from the federal government on so many levels. I just when to the Hoover Dam with my son (haven't been in 35 years) and just made me realize how great this country was and still is. We were the ticket, there was nothing that we didn't think we could do and the government played a huge part in that growth. FYI...The bridge over the dam is amazing.
Really sad to see the self interest politicians tearing us apart. They are using us...plain and simple.

I have not heard it lately so maybe the following has entirely fallen from our lexicon.
"You, sir, are a pimple on the ass of progress."

Morning Ron, are you showing your impartiality and fairness with the
other conservatives in praising President Obama in capturing the
#2 Taliban leader?
Or would you like to ignore this and cook up some criticisms?

Obama catches the #2 Taliban leader AND announces a new nuclear plant....
Somebody remind me- what has Obama done that is so utterly, completely different from your favorite Repug candidate?
If you guys can't be happy with this middle-of-the-road approach, you won't be happy with anything.

It's fun to be against stuff.
That way, facts remain wonderfully irrelevant.

I said a long time ago on this thread that Obama was a moderate....he proves me right almost everyday.
Then you have the nut jobs like like TGT calling him a Marxist when TGT couldn't tell you what a Marxist is.

Yeah, I don't get how Repugs can loudly proclaim their Americanism, and yet when it comes to holding criminals accountable to the highest standards of the legal system that the Founding Fathers helped to create, they much prefer frontier justice and vigilanteism (sp?).
Just another tender morsel of hypocrisy from the GOP, I guess.

Part III of Norton's Ongoing Visual Presentation of How the Economy
Performs Under Republican and Democratic Administrations.
We have looked at the stock market: Performs TWICE as good under Democrats.
We have looked at when the economy goes into Recessions: Under Republicans.
We have looked at the growth of the National Debt: Republicans are by far the biggest "SPENDERS".
Today, we look at the all important Private Sector Job Growth:

Norton, you are an endless source of stats and facts that create cold slaps of reality to the Repugs. Too bad they don't have any use for facts.

The sad reality in the last 75 years Republicans haven't taken on any major issues like SS, Civil Rights, Medicare and healthcare, clean air, clean water, national parks...all they say is no.
