[For those who care, this is a comment for Norton, who pointed out that a position I took on an issue several years ago differed from that of George Soros, so he asked if I thought I was a better economist than Soros. I foolishly replied that if that position is what Soros really believes, then I am. He never lets me forget it. I am therefore pleased to see Norton posting something that is almost verbatim what I said about Trump's trade position. Of course, on the merits (or demerits) of a Trump candidacy , Norton and I, miracolously, largely agree.]

Say what you want about his policy stances, Kasich is not stupid.
True that.... but quiet as a mouse during all of the "debates" ... he offered up no red meat to feed the mass of disatisfied republican voters. He just couldn't "get it up" when he needed to... same for the rest of them except for Cruz.
But Americans will never vote for a preacher or someone who talks and acts like one.

lol. he can't find anyone of substance to run with him, so he has to pick a family member. He might be reduced to picking the family pet.
I'd rather see his other daughter, the 22yr old party girl as a veep candidate. She's is the one that's in the pictures for eye candy, but probably can't spell eye candy.

More of Trump's exchange today with Senator Flake:
Flake told Trump that he wants to be able to support him — “I’m not part of the Never Trump movement,” the senator said — but that he remains uncomfortable backing his candidacy, the officials said. Trump said at the meeting that he has yet to attack Flake hard but threatened to begin doing so. Flake stood up to Trump by urging him to stop attacking Mexicans. Trump predicted that Flake would lose his reelection, at which point Flake informed Trump that he was not on the ballot this year, the sources said.
Awesome. Trump doesn't even know which Senators are up for election this year. Dumbass.

What a joke this election is. There was serious discussion today about whether Hillary is responsible enough to handle classified information. Considering she botched it with her private servers. Then trump....

Bob Corker was the source of that rumor. When Corker jumped ship he made a comment that Trumps daughter would make a good VP. I am sure Trump has tried to figure out a way to pull that off.

I watched the Congressional hearing with Dir. of FBI Comey today. It was a long hearing but a great hearing. Much has come out of the hearing. Now the FBI has to provide much more and the case is not over. Much more to do and provide.
Comey was caught in a web of illogical reasoning.
A pundit has said he believes after all the evidence that the FBI Director Comey had concerning Hillary Clinton, did not want to go down in history as the one who brought down Hillary Clinton, and to finish off her political aspirations to be President. He did not want to be put in that position, but the FBI laid out the facts to do so.
The facts are laid out that she is guilty, but he did not want to draw that conclusion. The transcript of the hearing must be available somewhere.
It's bad for Hillary today. It's real bad.
It's good that you watched the hearing and unfortunate that you don't seem to understand what happened.
